<h2>Objective</h2>
<p>In this three-part pre-season series, I am aiming to share my decisions and learnings from a very challenging 2019/20 season, illustrate how I approach and play the game and finally reveal my Gameweek 1 squad and strategy that will give me the most flexible start.</p>
<p>A much shorter article this week as time is short before the deadline for myself and our members to make final decisions!</p>
<h2><strong>Observations since last week</strong></h2>
<p>The transfer market and fantasy community has gone into over-drive with moves, speculations and a number of changes throwing doubts over our squads.</p>
<p>I've been on holiday, which has actually shielded me from some of the noise. This is something of a blessing as I have returned today to a potentially huge amount of information to process and make decisions around!</p>
<p>I have also spent considerable time reviewing many other members team submissions as part of the 'Ultra' service - and this has really helped crystallise and balance my own squad while advising.</p>
