Welcome back to my game-weekly FPL diary where I am putting all of my thoughts out there for anyone to read. Hopefully, they help some of you with your FPL decisions.
THE STORY SO FAR
Below you can see my progress so far this season…
Last Gameweek pts: 52
Total points: 1,739
I scored above average again but not highly enough for a green arrow. I’m disappointed but am sticking to my plan as I believe I will turn it around from Gameweek 31 with my chip strategy.
“Green arrows are around the corner” – I chose the right captain again but I was hoping for higher returns from Mkhitaryan, Martina, Wilson, Alonso, Pope and Walcott. Scoring just 12 between them.
Mane has proven a good move so far. He’s scored two weeks on the spin since I brought him in for Pogba. Davies also provided a clean sheet after coming in for the injured Phil Jones.
With just one available, I have decided to keep it and head in to the blank Gameweek 31 with a full quota of free transfers. I will be keeping a close eye on Martina and Wilson’s game time and have the following players on a GW31 Watchlist:
van La Parra

NOTE: Each week I will always try to wait until we are close to the deadline before committing to any transfers. (Often Friday night/Saturday morning) This allows me to absorb as much information as possible and not get caught out by any late injury news etc.
This week I will be captaining Harry Kane. He will be hoping to edge ahead of Salah in the race for the Golden Boot this week as he has the more favorable fixture. I also am certain he will be the most captained so feel he is the safest option.
Thank you for reading my FPL diary post, please feel free to comment below with any feedback. I’m always trying to improve the feature so any suggestions of further information you would like me to include in the future are very welcome. – Good luck in Gameweek 30 guys!
