Gameweek 6 has some really favourable fixtures for the forwards. Just like the midfield, there are also a lot of strikers this year performing in all price categories which is no surprise with this season's poor defensive displays and high scoring games. In fact, Gameweek 5 was the first week in which we did not see a hattrick scored! So let’s look at the fixtures and analyse which strikers will be best for Gameweek 6 and hopefully I can choose another hattrick hero in my picks.

<h3>Harry Kane (£10.8) – Spurs</h3>
Fixture: Burnley (a)
The Spurs forward has been in the form of his life this season. It was a much talked about subject over the past few seasons whether Kane was past his best and washed up or whether it was due to the constant playing game after game and picking up injuries. It seemed however, all he needed was a nice long rest as since the 100-day break in football last season he has been back to his best and then some. The ‘Covid break’ has probably turned his season back around and now seeing arguably the best version of him we have ever seen.
He sits as the highest-scoring player in the game (60 points) after five games, with five goals and an impressive seven assists. He seems to have improved his assist threat massively as in the last two seasons combined he has only managed a total of eight assists. Looking at his stats it's clear that it's not luck either. He has created 13 Chances (5th), and seven Big Chances (7) and has an xA of 3.79 (1st). Although it’s extremely unlikely his current rate of assists will continue he has still clearly upped his game in the creativity department and will get more. It’s worth bearing in mind also that six of his assists have been Heung-Min Son’s (£9.3m) seven goals and the South Korean has also been scoring at a very high and unsustainable conversion rate.
Looking at Kane’s scoring stats he has had 25 Shots (1st), 13 Shots on Target (1st), 16 Shots in the Box (3rd), and six Big Chances (3rd), his underlying stats and output really does indicate that he is back to his best and is again the premium forward option we all know and love.
Spurs as a team also boast the best attacking statistics. They have 37 Shots on Target this season (1st), 51 Shots in the Box (3rd), 20 Big Chances (1st) and have also scored the most goals (15). They face a Burnley team who have only managed to pick up one point and don’t look too inspiring. With the attacking form that Spurs and Kane are in, he is one of the best captaincy options for Gameweek 6 also.

<h3>Danny Ings (£8.5m) – Southampton</h3>
Fixture: Everton (H)
Danny Ings had a phenomenal 2019-20 season and was unlucky not to get the golden boot. He was only one goal behind Jamie Vardy (£10.0m) finishing the season on 22 goals and 2 assists which saw him pick up a career-best 198 points. His fitness was always a concern in the past but he looks to be over that demon now as he has managed to stay fit the whole of last season and all of the current one so far.
Form wise he has started off pretty much how he finished the last campaign. He has scored four goals already in his first five games and seems to be as clinical as ever. He has 12 Shots, eight Shots on Target, and 10 Shots in the Box. He is the main striker and talisman for the Saints and is also now on penalties which raises his stock even higher.
Southampton don’t have the easiest fixture in Gameweek 6 but that doesn’t stop him from scoring as he has scored against Spurs (H) and Chelsea (a) this season already. He is just one of those strikers who can score against any team and doesn’t need many chances to do so. A striker of his pedigree who is also on spot-kicks is a good option against most teams and also add in the factor of the increase of penalties we are seeing this year. I can see this game being a high scoring one.

<h3>Raul Jimenez (£8.5m) – Wolves</h3>
Fixture: Newcastle (H)
The Mexican forward has proved himself to be one of the most reliable strikers in FPL over the past two seasons. After his incredible debut season in which he scored 13 goals and 10 assists, he bettered that last term with 17 goals and 7 assists. He finished with 194 points and the fourth-highest scoring forward. He was top from all the forwards last season in shots (118), and Shots in the Box (93) and he was also top for Big Chances Created (13). 
He is an all-round striker who will get you goals and assists and is on penalties; the perfect recipe for an FPL manager. Although Wolves haven’t been their usual selves thus far they are still grinding out results and Jimenez is still scoring. So far this season he has three goals from 15 Shots, six Shots on Target, 12 Shots in the Box and four Big Chances.
Wolves have a home fixture against Newcastle United in Gameweek 6 and it looks a good game for them to actually kick into gear. Raul is their talisman and is involved in a large majority of their goals; he already has a GI (goal involvement of 60%) also. I think this is a good fixture for him as Wolves will dominate possession, will be strong favourites to win and he is sure to be amongst the goals. They don’t have another recognised striker really and they will look to feed the ball into him as much as possible.

<h3>Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m) – Everton</h3>
Fixture: Southampton (a)
The Everton forward is having a season to remember. He is currently the top scorer in the league with seven goals, scoring his first ever hattrick and also scoring on his England debut. It really doesn’t get much better for him and he will be brimming with confidence. The appointment of Carlo Ancelotti and the signing of James Rodriguez (£8.0m) has evidently been a factor in his resurgence.
His underlying stats have been on par with the likes of Harry Kane (£10.8m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.3m). He has had 20 Shots (4th), 12 Shots on Target (2nd), 17 Shots in the Box (2nd), eight Big Chances (1st) and an xG of 4.44 (1st). He is also the only player to have scored in every single game this season which included the likes of Spurs and Liverpool. This also explains his huge price rise of £0.7m in just five games and an ownership of 54.5% and rising.
The Toffees face Southampton away from home in Gameweek 6 which doesn’t seem the best fixture on paper but Everton are a much improved team with a world-class manager and have not only Calvert-Lewin on form but the whole team is clicking and gelling really well together. You just have to look at the Liverpool game last week to see that they are the real deal and so is Calvert-Lewin. They have scored 14 goals (2nd), had 27 Shots on Target (5th)  42 Shots in the Box (6th) and created 16 Big Chances (3rd). They are clearly a team in form and scoring lots of goals.

<h3>Neal Maupay (£6.6m) – Brighton</h3>
Fixture: West Brom (H)
The Frenchman has been one of the best performing budget strikers this season scoring 34 points with four goals and one assist. He had really impressive underlying stats last year and is also putting up good numbers this season. Maupay has managed 18 Shots (4th), 8 Shots on Target (5th), 13 Shots in the Box (5th) and five Big Chances (5th) and for a £6.6m striker you can't ask for much more. He is also on penalties which further heightens his appeal.
Brighton have not had the easiest set of opening games playing Chelsea (H), Manchester United (H), and Everton (a) in their first five games. Their fixtures do ease up now starting with a very plum match in Gameweek 6 against West Brom. The Baggies have one of the worst defensive stats in the league conceding 48 Shots in the Box (17th), 35 Shots on Target (18th), and 14 Big Chances (19th).
The Seagulls as a team have also been playing very well and have been rather unlucky so far with the Manchester United game coming to mind where they hit the woodwork a record five times. They also play very attacking and have had 75 Shots (2nd), 43 Shots on Target (5th), and 20 Shots in the Box. I think they will win this game quite comfortably and can easily see Maupay in the points; he is a great option, not only for Gameweek 6 but beyond also.
Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> also likes him as he is predicted to be the third highest scoring player from all forwards, behind Harry Kane (£10.8m) and Sergio Aguero (£10.4m).
