<p>Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is in the best form of his Premier League career, with four goals in his last seven games.</p>
<p>His purple patch comes at the right time for FPL managers, as not only do Palace double in Gameweek 34, but they have two home games potentially obliging defences.</p>
<p>West Ham are the first to travel to Selhurst Park, with only Luton and Sheffield United having conceded more expected goals this season.</p>
<p>The Hammers are also fourth bottom for goals conceded, and expended plenty of effort in their two-legged tie with Bundesliga Champions Bayer Leverkusen.</p>
<p>Newcastle meanwhile are the 14th ranked defence in the league this season, and the Magpies have plenty of injuries at the back, including their goalkeeper.</p>

<p>Mateta will hope to continue his scoring run across these two fixtures, and his position under manager Oliver Glasner sets him in good stead to do just that.</p>
<p>He has the most big chances as well as the most shots in the box among Palace assets, and he looks like good value given the threat he is offering.</p>
<p>The Frenchman was Palace's most advanced player in their 1-0 victory over Liverpool last gameweek, and for the first time he is being given an extended run up front for the Eagles, playing 90 minutes in the majority of games in 2024.</p>
