<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best Gameweek 10 Goalkeeper and Defenders</h2>
<h3><strong>Edouard Mendy (£6.1m) and </strong><strong>Ben Chilwell (£5.8m)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Chelsea&#8217;s</strong> defence hasn&#8217;t been as solid as the back end of last season but they are still providing great options. Their wingbacks are capable of mega returns.</p>
<p><strong>Newcastle</strong> sit in the bottom quarter for all major attacking numbers and they&#8217;ve tallied the <strong>third lowest xG (4.0)</strong> over the last four games.</p>
<p>Chilwell looks like he&#8217;s retained the number one left-back spot. Yet there will be rotation over the coming months, although I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s much worry this week.</p>
<p>He ranks <strong>second amongst defenders for xG (1.14)</strong>, despite playing one game less during the past four matches.</p>

<h3><b>Ruben Dias (£6.2m) and Joao Cancelo (£6.4m)</b></h3>
<p>Apart from <strong>conceding six big chances over the last four</strong> (half of which came against <strong>Liverpool</strong>), <strong>Manchester City</strong> top the defensive charts, unsurprisingly.</p>
<p><strong>Cancelo has registered the most shots this season amongst defenders</strong> and over the last four games (8), accumulating an xG of 1.02.</p>
<p><strong>Dias</strong> carries a safe return if Man City keep a clean sheet.</p>

<h3><strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.6m)</strong></h3>
<p>Trent is back in the <strong>best free hit team</strong> a few weeks after picking up an injury, but this week he&#8217;s an easy inclusion against <strong>Brighton</strong>.</p>
<p>The Seagulls have had the <strong>fewest big chances (4)</strong> over the last four with an <strong>xG of 4.4</strong>.</p>

<h2>The Best Gameweek 10 Midfielders</h2>

<h3><strong>Mohammed Salah (£12.7m) and Diogo Jota (£7.5m)</strong></h3>
<p>The <strong>Liverpool</strong> attack are purring at the moment so I want to have two going forward. <strong>Liverpool rank top for big chances (19)</strong> and <strong>xG (10.5)</strong> over the last four.</p>

<h3>Phil Foden (£8.1m)</h3>
<p>Despite a bit of luck last week, I think Foden is a good pick once again. With <strong>Ferran Torres</strong> out, it provides the England international with another position to slot in at.</p>
<p>As with all Man City players, rotation is inevitable but it&#8217;s about picking your weeks and hoping for a bit of luck.</p>
<p><strong>Crystal Palace</strong> aren&#8217;t the easiest opposition on paper but there are still goals to be had, especially when you&#8217;re Manchester City.</p>
<p><strong>Only Salah has recorded more shots inside the box and a higher xG</strong> than Foden over the last four.</p>

<h3>Mason Mount (£7.5m)</h3>
<p>It feels like chasing points this week, yet <strong>Newcastle</strong> is a plum fixture for any team.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t see <strong>Mount</strong> as an explosive player despite his return last week, but rather a player that will tick over.</p>
<p><strong>Mount had two big chances and two big chances created</strong> during his last four games with a total of 140 minutes.</p>

<h3></h3>
<h3><strong>Michael Antonio (£7.5m)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Aston Villa rank bottom for xGC (9.4)</strong>, <strong>big chances (13)</strong>, shots (76) and shots inside the box conceded (46) in their last four.</p>
<p><strong>Antonio</strong> seems an easy choice this week.</p>

<h3><strong>Ivan Toney (£6.6m)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Brentford</strong> have been dangerous going forward this season and they face <strong>Burnley</strong> who sit <strong>second bottom for shots conceded inside the box (44)</strong>, conceding six times in their last four.</p>
