Finally! Lots to digest.

Ron, Messi and Neymar all 12.0

Mo and Sterling both forwards.. Interesting!

Haz a forward as well. Kane pricy.. More expensive than Suarez!

Nice one Ste.

"Players who are substituted out will score 0 points. The captain bonus will be lost from your original captain if a new captain is selected. Substitutions and captain changes can't be cancelled once confirmed."

Looks like stick or twist captains then (vaguely remember this from last time)

Yeah, think the rules are pretty similar to UCL fantasy if anyone has played that

Salah at 8.5 is very kind. Varela at 4.5m looks decent as well

So is everyone just planning for the first two fixtures? Then hitting the Wildcard button?

Leaning this way. Could possibly change up after the first round as well

Coutinho looks like a bargain at 9.0.

Anyone else spotted some underpriced gems?

Quite like Pickford if he's nailed for the first two games.

Isco and Eriksen seem decent value as well

Seems like some decent value in the 8.5 + bracket. Not much going on around 6-8m?

Yeah, looks that way Sophie. 3 heavy mids could be the way to go

Ziyech or Carrasco could offer some value for less than 7m?

Both look pretty decent. Although I'm still leaning towards 3 mid-priced mids at present.

de Arrascaeta could be an option up front to allow 4 heavy hitters into midfield?

Any nailed 4.0 defenders spotted?

Not sure Ian. Think H.SAKAI is, but others may know more

This is my first draft. Feel like I'm slightly clueless compared to my FPL knowhow... any advice welcome

Idowu of Nigeria could be another 4.0 option. Looks nailed on.

Think Arius is injured mate. Granqvist could be a good option. On pens apparently

Definitely best to have your later players on the bench, so you can sub in if needed. So Pickford and Paulinho play after Uzoho and Hamed.

Current draft, with a captain option for first 5 days.

If none perform, then  I could use Round 1 transfer to bring in Lewandowski.

How's everyone else shaping up?

Like that a lot Ian. Ignash could be a good opener. Think Hazard has been overlooked by many given his classification as a forward, but he's got to be a strong option and has done very well for Belgium in the past.

Nice team Ian! Eriksen looks like a good pick to me.. if Denmark score, surely he's got a great chance of being involved.

I'm still tinkering, but will post here once I have settled on something half decent :-)

I'm in. Appreciate the League being set up to give an interest, particularly as I have no team to support who are actually in the tournament.

My first draft is below, the starting point being the Uruguayans and Belgians and built up from there.

Good luck all!

Like Uruguayan and Belgian contingent Andrew.

Less sure about your defensive mids - Fern, Matic and Kante. Unlike Sky there's little reward for them as options, unfortunately (no bonus!)

Good to see you back on here Andrew. Like the team, but agree with @Pinky on the defensive mids

Thanks Pinky and Will. Yes, that's fair comment from you both. In retrospect it is indeed a little bit of overkill on the defensive mids. A little time, and a smidgen of budget to tinker with yet.

Cheers guys!

Don’t forget to captain players who play in the earlier games. It seems a really simple way of adding a bit of knowhow to give yourself an advantage of the more casual fplayer

I’m only just coming to grips with it myself. I had to do quite a bit of reading to feel like I understand it.

for the record, I’m wildcarding gw 2 also. I’ll bb in first knockout round and max cap... undecided.

Having rarely strayed from the Sky game I'm slightly hesitant at what to do and when here so forgive me if I'm way off the mark. Would I be right in thinking though that whilst you can indeed change captains after each game day only the captain in place at the close of the round is actually going to accrue any bonus points? That's how the rules seem to read to me.

And that in changing your captain you also lose the auto sub facility. This is less of an issue if you are keeping on top of things and manually changing of course.

If I'm reading this right perhaps it is only worth actuallychanging captain if your original captain choice has bombed rather than routinely after every game day?
