<h2>Premium for a Reason</h2>
<p>Firstly, as expected, Liverpool dynamo <strong>Mohamed Salah </strong>and Tottenham forward <strong>Harry Kane</strong> have both been priced at the top of the tree at a whopping, and deserved, <strong>£12.5m</strong>.</p>
<p>With Liverpool having the fourth best set of opening six fixtures according to our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">Fixture Ticker</a>, the Egyptian will likely be required for the armband on several occasions throughout August and September after finishing as the third highest FPL points-scorer (231) in the 2020/21 season.</p>

<p>Spurs will be hoping to hold on to their talismanic captain who scored 242 FPL points last season, but if Manchester City manage to scare him, his price will be unlikely scare off suitors with the potential for weekly hauls as the main man in the Citizens&#8217; attack.</p>
<p>Manchester United&#8217;s <strong>Bruno Fernandes (£12.0m)</strong>, last season&#8217;s highest FPL points-scorer (244), has also seen a hike thanks to his fantastic all round displays for the Red Devils and will surely be heavily involved in the points early this coming season too as he kicks off against LEE, sou, wol, NEW, whu, AVL.</p>
<p>After an injury-ravaged 2020/21 season, Manchester City&#8217;s <strong>Kevin De Bruyne </strong>will be tough to stay away from at <strong>£12.0m</strong> whilst Tottenham&#8217;s <strong>Heung-Min Son (£10.0m)</strong> will likely attract a lot of attention following a stellar season in which he scored 228 FPL points, the fourth highest in the game.</p>

<p>In defence, Liverpool&#8217;s <strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m)</strong> and <strong>Andy Robertson (£7.0m)</strong> are the same starting prices as last season and could offer great value if they can rediscover some of the defensive form of seasons past. Meanwhile, Chelsea&#8217;s <strong>Ben Chilwell (£6.0m)</strong> has shown great promise at both ends of the pitch to reward investment.</p>

<h2>Potential Budget Gems</h2>
<p>Newly promoted Brentford&#8217;s star striker <strong>Ivan Toney</strong> comes into Fantasy Premier League at <strong>£6.5m</strong> after hitting a record 31 Championship goals last season; just a third of those goals next term would prove value for money. With a starring role in the second half of the 2020/21 season, Leicester City&#8217;s <strong>Kelechi Iheanacho (£7.5m)</strong> looks on the cheap side to say the least!</p>
<p>Liverpool&#8217;s <strong>Diogo Jota (£7.5m)</strong> and Leeds&#8217; <strong>Raphinha (£6.5m) </strong>look potentially great value in midfield if they can build on their promising starts at Liverpool and Leeds respectively.</p>

<p>In defence, Leeds&#8217; attacking full back <strong>Luke Ayling</strong> is priced at just <strong>£4.5m</strong> whilst West Ham&#8217;s <strong>Vladimir Coufal</strong> looks a snip at <strong>£5.0m</strong> following some very promising defensive and attacking performances for the Hammers last time out.</p>
<p>Brighton&#8217;s stopper <strong>Robert Sànchez (£4.5m)</strong> will likely see his way into a plenty of Gameweek 1 teams with the Seagulls&#8217; extremely kind opening schedule (bur, WAT, EVE, bre, LEI, cry) which sees them top our Fixture Ticker ratings.</p>

<h2>The best of the rest</h2>
<p>Leeds&#8217; <strong>Patrick Bamford (£8.0m)</strong> and Aston Villa&#8217;s <strong>Ollie Watkins (£7.5m)</strong> have seen a rise following their fantastic performances last season but it is Manchester United&#8217;s <strong>Edinson Cavani</strong> who catches the eye in the &#8216;Forwards&#8217; category at <strong>£8.5m.</strong> If he plays most games he could score serious points as the focal point of the Red Devils&#8217; attack.</p>

<p>Arsenal&#8217;s <strong>Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang</strong> has seen a reclassification back to a forward and comes in at a potentially tasty <strong>£10.0m</strong> if the Gunners can keep up their recent signs of improvement.</p>
<p>When fit, Aston Villa&#8217;s <strong>Jack Grealish (£8.0m)</strong> was a consistent point scorer last time out whilst could 2021/22 be <strong>Kai Havertz&#8217; (£8.5m)</strong> breakout season?</p>
<p>Fantasy Premier League towers have kept Manchester United&#8217;s defensive options very reasonable with both <strong>David De Gea and Dean Henderson</strong> only setting us back <strong>£5.0m</strong> each whilst <strong>Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka</strong> will tempt many at just <strong>£5.5m</strong>, as will Everton&#8217;s <strong>Lucas Digne</strong>.</p>
