 Who are the best Fantasy Premier League forwards to own for Blank Gameweek 18? 4-time top 1k finisher <a href="https://twitter.com/FPL_Salah">Abdul Rehman</a> uses the Hub's <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/">OPTA</a>, <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-player-comparision-tool/">Comparison</a> and <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">Fixture</a> tools to find the best FPL budget and premium forwards for our FPL teams.
With only six fixtures going ahead in Blank Gameweek 18 the choices will be more limited than usual but there are still quite a few options for this week especially with the late announcement of the Manchester City vs Brighton and Burnley vs Manchester United fixtures being added to this Gameweek. As always I will go through the stats, form and fixtures to present the best forwards for the next Gameweek.

<h3>Harry Kane (£11.0m) – Spurs</h3>

Spurs came back with a bang last Gameweek after a disappointing run of fixtures which saw them suffer two defeats and two draws. They convincingly beat Leeds United 3-0 at home and not surprisingly Harry Kane got another haul grabbing a goal, assist, and maximum bonus points. That now takes him to a remarkable 10 goals and 11 assists in 16 games. He has 61 Shots (2nd), 23 Shots on Target (4th) and 39 Shots in the Box (4th). He has also created 24 Chances and 10 Big Chances (3rd).
Spurs face Aston Villa in Blank Gameweek 18 which won't be an easy fixture for them but Kane will still be one of the highest owned forwards and with the stats he is putting up he is a dangerous asset. Tottenham as a team have had 75 Shots in on Target (7th), 117 Shots in the Box (12th), and 40 Big Chances (5th) and have scored 29 goals (6th). They have been a very potent attacking force thanks especially to the England forward and his teammate Heung-Min Son (£9.7m) who have now combined for a total of 13 goals this season. No duo has ever combined for more in a single campaign in the competition and we are only 16 games in. It’s clear both players are great for each other and will likely carry on gelling well together throughout the season.
Harry Kane now also has a Goal Involvement of 72% which is the highest in the league and shows just how involved he is in Spurs' attacking output. His stats show he is not only getting in good goal scoring positions but is also creating a lot too. Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> has him at 55% to return anytime for Gameweek 18.
With 21 attacking returns already this season and with the forward also being on penalties he is a great option for this week when only six fixtures will be played.

<h3>Anthony Martial (£8.7m) – Manchester United</h3>
<h4>Fixture: Burnley (a)</h4>
Anthony Martial again grabbed a goal last Gameweek against Aston Villa which now brings his total in the last five games to two goals and four assists. No player in the league has more attacking returns in the same period and his stats are promising also. In the last five, he has 15 Shots, 9 Shots on Target (2nd), 11 Shots in the Box (5th) and 5 Big Chances (1st) while also created 9 Chances and 4 Big Chances (2nd).
It’s clear that his form and confidence has picked up as have his stats and the output. Manchester United face Burnley away from home in Blank Gameweek 18 and with the form that the Red Devils are showing, they will be confident of putting the Clarets away here. They have been one of the best attacking teams in the league so far scoring 33 goals (2nd). They have also had 94 Shots on Target (2nd), 140 Shots in the Box (8th) and 45 Big Chances (2nd). They also have the second best xG in the league at 32.27.
They are now unbeaten in their last 10 games – winning eight and two draws. They have also scored the most goals in this period (24) – four more than Liverpool who are second with 20.
Burnley on the other hand have conceded a total of 209 Shots (16th), 132 Shots in the Box (14th), and 73 Shots on Target (15th). And they have also only played 15 games when most teams in the league have played 17.
Manchester United are playing some scintillating attacking football and their stats show that they will score a lot more goals this season. Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> has Martial at 54% for anytime returns also.

<h3>Alexandre Lacazette (£8.2m) – Arsenal</h3>
<h4>Fixture: Crystal Palace (H)</h4>
The Frenchman has been in great form recently grabbing four goals in his last 2.5 games. He is the only striker at Arsenal showing a bit of form right now. He has been out of favour this season and mostly been a bit-part player but his last three games performance will surely earn him a starting berth in Blank Gameweek 18 where they have a plumb home game against Crystal Palace. No player has scored more goals in the last three games than Lacazette and in that time he is showing impressive stats also. Bear in mind in the last three he has played 90 minutes in two games and 24 minutes in another. He has 8 Shots, 7 Shots on Target (1st), 7 Shots in the Box (3rd) and 5 Big Chances (1st) with an xG of 2.91 (1st).
Arsenal have also seen an upturn in form over the last three games in which they have scored eight goals (1st) and won all three games. They had only scored 12 goals from Gameweek 1 to 14. They seemed to have finally clicked and now look like a good attacking side. In the last three, they have had 47 Shots (1st), 22 Shots on Target (1st), 38 Shots in the Box (1st) and 9 Big Chances (3rd).
They come up against a Crystal Palace in Gameweek 18 who have not been the best defensively conceding 29 goals (18th). They have also conceded 227 Shots (17th), 142 Shots in the Box (17th), 79 Shots on Target (16th) and 38 Big Chances (17th). The Eagles have only kept two clean sheets also and defensively look a shadow of the team they have in previous seasons.
At only £8.2m he is a fine option for Blank Gameweek 18 especially for those who are using their Free Hit chip.

<h3>Callum Wilson (£6.5m) – Newcastle United</h3>
<h4>Fixture: Sheffield United (a)</h4>
Callum Wilson has scored eight goals and four assists and he has 26 Shots, 24 Shots in the Box, 11 Shots on Target and 12 Big Chances. For his price, he is showing good stats and output and is the second-highest scoring budget forward after Patrick Bamford (£6.6m).
Newcastle United come up against Sheffield United in Blank Gameweek 18 who have been by far the worst team in the league this season as they sit rooted at the bottom of the league on two points and 12 points from safety. They have conceded 238 Shots (18th), 152 Shots in the Box (18th), and 91 Shots on Target (18th). They have also conceded 40 Big Chances (18th).
Although The Toon haven’t been great themselves this season they are a far better team than their opponents. They have scored 18 goals with 50 Shots on Target (18th), 86 Shots in the Box (18th) and 18 Big Chances (19th). However, their attacking players are much better than the Blades and they have a great player in Wilson who can score goals and can make that difference.
The Newcastle forward is the clear talisman for them and has a Goal Involvement of 67% (3rd). He also has created 14 Chances with 2 Big Chances so can assist too and is also Newcastle’s number one penalty taker. When they score he is almost always involved and they look to play the ball to him as much as possible.

<h3>Ollie Watkins (£6.1m) – Aston Villa</h3>

Ollie Watkins has been really unfortunate lately and has done just about everything but score. He has 6 goals and four assists but hasn’t managed to net in his last eight games. He has missed a penalty, hit the woodwork multiple times, and had two goals ruled out via very close VAR reviews. His stats however are still encouraging and show it is a matter of time before he starts netting again. He has 43 Shots, 17 Shots on Target, 41 Shots in the Box (2nd) and 15 Big Chances (4th). His xG sits at 8.42 which shows he has been getting good chances but just hasn’t converted them. He has also created 20 Chances and 2 Big Chances.
Aston Villa face Spurs at home in Blank Gameweek 18 who have just come off an impressive 3-0 win over Leeds United. However, the Villains have been fantastic this year and are one of the best attacking sides in the league. In only 15 games they have had 239 Shots (3rd), 87 Shots on Target (5th), 165 Shots in the Box (3rd) and 43 Big Chances (3rd). They have also scored 29 goals (6th). This is despite playing two games fewer than most teams in the league. They really a rejuvenated team and have gone from almost being relegated to one of the top 6 teams in the league in less than a year.
The Villa forward has shown this season he does know where the back of the net is and looks to be nailed in his centre forward position. The attacking stats that Villa have shown prove how good a team they are and with a playmaker like Jack Grealish (£7.7m) who has created the most Chances in the league (55) and second most Big Chances (12) they will carry on scoring and be a tough test for any team in the league.
