Bakar's Gameweek 2 Team Review:

I accumulated 78 points this week which gives me a green arrow which I'm more than happy to take! I had a Gameweek rank of 485,894 and now have an overall rank of 208,942 which I believe is solid enough at this stage of the season.

My captain Mohamed Salah (£12.6m) blanked but so did the other popular candidate Bruno Fernandes (£12.1m). Said Benrahma (£6.3m), Mason Greenwood (£7.6m) and double Liverpool defence brought home the majority of points for me. I did not have Michail Antonio (£7.8m) or else it could have been an even better week for me. It was a high scoring week for most FPL managers so I am happy not to fall behind the curve.

I believe it's important to stay with the pack because you don't want to end up chasing points at this stage of the season.

Bakar’s Gameweek 3 FPL Team

This is my team after making three transfers and taking a four point hit.

I really flirted with the idea of a wildcard in 0rder to be in a position to easily get Cristiano Ronaldo next week, and that would have allowed me to have Harry Kane (c) as a placeholder as well.

However, I decided against it as ideally I want to be saving it for later weeks to come. There's also the fact that I really like my team this week so there is no apparent reason to wildcard other than avoiding some hits and targeting upside.
