<p>Now that we have four weeks of data, the Gameweek 5 Form vs Fixture charts can start to piece together the key trends and patterns for the season so far, in the hope of informing our future plans.</p>
<p>The combined chart demonstrates the sides with the best balance of form and fixtures going forward. There's also my top three transfer targets for Gameweek 5.</p>
<p>The FPL fixtures chart uses the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">site fixture ticker</a>, focusing on attack for the next four Gameweeks. The form charts also have attack in mind, studying the number of goals scored per game, whilst reflecting the format of the site ticker.</p>

<p><strong>Spurs</strong> and<strong> Fulham</strong> are the clear leaders in the FPL Fixtures Chart for Gameweek 5, with <strong>Brighton</strong> coming in third place; more on Spurs later. Fulham aren't exactly the most appealing side to invest in right now, having scored in just one of their four games this season. However, all of their opponents are in mid-table obscurity or worse, with clean sheets hard to come by. <strong>Aleksandar Mitrović (£5.9m) </strong>has seen significant sales, but he does have two goals already and has taken 16 shots this season.</p>
<p><strong>Brighton </strong>also have a favourable schedule, with just a tricky clash against Spurs in Gameweek 7 the only blemish on the fixture ticker. <strong>Neal Maupay (£6.6m) </strong>leads the way for investment, given that he is on penalties and has scored four goals already. His ownership currently sits under 5% at the time of writing so he is a real differential; don't expect him to stay like that for long though with this kind run of games.</p>
<p>At the opposite end of the table, things don't look too promising for Newcastle United or Everton. However, you should absolutely keep the faith with the likes of <strong>Callum Wilson (£6.4m) </strong>and <strong>Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.6m) </strong>among others, with the latter in an exclusive group of players to have scored in every single gameweek so far. That kind of goal-scoring form can transcend even the most challenging fixture schedule, and clean sheets are hard to come by right now.</p>

<p>When it comes to form, <b>Aston Villa </b>are out in front, largely helped by that surprise seven goal battering of a usually solid Liverpool defence. A cluster of sides follow closely behind, with <strong>Leicester City, Everton</strong> and<strong> Liverpool</strong><strong> </strong>all earning a mention here. We will touch on the quality of Aston Villa assets when it comes to considering the overall Gameweek 5 Form vs Fixture charts.</p>
<p><strong>Leicester City </strong>were looking unstoppable before West Ham scored three past them at the King Power Stadium last weekend. However, <strong>Jamie Vardy (£10.6m) </strong>and <strong>Harvey Barnes (£7.1m) </strong>remain good fantasy assets, having had a goal ruled out for offside against the Hammers. Jamie Vardy has five goals this season and the threat of penalties too. Harvey Barnes underlying statistics carry weight, with 13 shots so far this season.</p>
<p>On Merseyside, the derby is well within our sights, with investment in Dominic Calvert-Lewin and <strong>James Rodriguez (£7.8m) </strong>continuing to yield fantasy points: Rodriguez now has three goals and two assists on home turf, from 10 shots and 12 chances created. <strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.2m) </strong>continues to take the headlines for the reds, proving he can still provide double digit returns when their backs are against the wall. He now has five goals and one assist, coming from 19 shots and 14 attempted assists. They're impressive figures.</p>
<h3>Form vs Fixtures</h3>
<p>Given the surprising nature of the season so far, we now have a new leader at the top of the Gameweek 5 Form vs Fixture Charts, with <strong>Leicester City </strong>finally ousted after their dominance over the past three weeks.</p>
