I reveal my Wildcard transfers, captaincy and starting 11 for Gameweek 7 below.
Wildcard Squad - FPL Gameweek 7 Team Reveal
Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale (£4.5m) is between the sticks. I had considered keeping Robert Sanchez (£4.6m) but I believe the Gunners stopper is now the strongest option in that price bracket.
Watford's Ben Foster (£4.0m) will be my back-up goalkeeper, as he is currently playing games for the Hornets. Although I'm not sure how long that will last.
With outfield positions, I tend to look at the first six fixtures. However, with goalkeepers I intend to keep them for the long term instead of using precious transfers on this position. Therefore, I take a "set and forget" approach.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.6m) out injured for at least one Gameweek, I've decided to spread the funds around. I will act quickly in future Gameweeks should I want him back, but for now I'll go without him.
Ruben Dias (£6.1m) and Antonio Rudiger (£5.8m) come in as my premium options. Both centrebacks form part of the best defences in the leagues so they should rack up the clean sheets.
I have three cheaper defenders - Ben White (£4.4m), Shane Duffy (£4.3m) and Tino Livramento (£4.2m). I'll rotate these options accordingly on Gameweek to Gameweek basis.
Mohammed Salah (£12.6m) will be the only premium midfielder on my Wildcard. My other four midfielders are far more budget-friendly, freeing up valuable funds for a big forward-line.
Leeds United's favourable fixtures and Raphinha's (£6.5m) great underlying numbers and form has merited an inclusion in my Wildcard.
