I reveal my transfers, captaincy and starting 11 for Gameweek 9 below.
FPL Gameweek 9 Team Reveal
Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale (£4.6m) is between the sticks with Watford's Ben Foster (£4.0m) on my bench, as he is currently starting for the Hornets.
Hopefully he continues to play as it's handy having a back-up goalkeeper who's starting games. With outfield positions, I tend to look at the first six fixtures.
However, with goalkeepers I intend to keep them for the long term instead of using precious transfers on this position. Therefore, I take a "set and forget" approach.
Ruben Dias (£6.2m) and Antonio Rudiger (£5.8m) are my premium options in defence. Although they disappointed in Gameweek 8, long-term I'm happy with both centre-backs as they form part of the best defences in the leagues - so they should rack up the clean sheets.
I have three cheaper defenders - Matthew Lowton (£4.4m), Shane Duffy (£4.4m) and Tino Livramento (£4.3m). I'll rotate these options accordingly on a Gameweek to Gameweek basis.
Mohammed Salah (£12.8m) is my only premium midfielder and will be my captain in Gameweek 9.
My other four midfielders are far more budget-friendly, freeing up valuable funds for a big forward-line.
Leeds United's favourable fixtures, and Raphinha's (£6.7m) great underlying numbers and form, merited an inclusion.
I'm hoping he can return to club form following his excellent performances for Brazil.
