Gameweek 10 Review
Another decent week - that's three in a row now! 59 points gave me another green arrow from 3.1m to 2.6m overall rank, and I've now risen 1.5m places in three weeks, from an admittedly low base. It was still another case of what could have been - how it could have been even better, with Ollie Watkins (£6.1m) missing a penalty and having a goal controversially 'VARRED out' for offside and ending up on zero points when it could easily have been a haul, and Daniel Podence (£5.4m) staying stuck first on my bench with his 9 points! But, a number of players did return for me, the most pleasing of which being Sam Johnstone (£4.5m) getting 9 points, having being ticking along quite nicely in recent weeks. Here are my points in full:

Gameweek 11 Preview
Firstly, as always, let's look at the fixtures sorted best to worst over the next four weeks from the Hub's Fixture Ticker.

Hub Fixture Ticker - next four games
Although Newcastle move to the top of the ticker, the headline has to be Manchester City who are really into their good fixtures now, having at last found their scoring boots against Burnley this week. That has to be my priority this week. In terms of who to sacrifice to get them, Spurs continue their tricky run, whilst Everton's fixtures are also about to turn sour.
This is my team for Gameweek 11 as it stands:

Hi Mathew. Great article as always. What do you make out of the postponed NEW vs AVL game? Does your transfers depends on this?
thanks cheers
Cheers pal. I need to think about it, but possibly not.
A is perfect. Then you can evaluate further and do DCL > Bamford the following week when fixtures align perfectly for that move.
Shrewd moves with very high upside – cannot see how you don’t get a green doing this. A lot of players will be wasting their FT on fixing Martinez, playing a 10 man team or taking even more hits to cover a thin squad – you’ve already got an advantage and can hide the -4 relatively easily.
Thanks! Hope you’re right.
Hi Matthew, again silly question. Would you consider a free hit with Aston Villa vs Newcastle game delay? Has been thinking to activate this after Chelsea CL game. But would be hard decision on who to bring onboard. I am thinking plenty of MC and Leicester players. What your view on this?
Firstly, I would wait as long as possible in case the Villa v Newcastle game is recheduled into next midweek (same Gameweek). Apart from that, I also would wonder whether there may be more useful weeks to use the Free Hit later in the season when there is more than one “blank fixture”
Thanks. Patience does rewards I believe.
Option A looks solid. Fixtures give a toilet bowl of a bench this week though.
Well I have taken the risk as Jota was rising, and whether Villa/Newcastle is next week I do want KDB and Jota
It was Kane+Son+Bissuma to KDB+Jota (5th MF)+Webeck ( the latter an interesting risk but I shall be WC in the next few weeks if this does not work
Hi Matthew
how do we see your total points haul to date?
Hi. Not sure about “haul” but it’s here

Interesting line of thought, have you considered going Son -> Bruno, without taking any hits? Or do you much prefer the City duo?
I just couldn’t resist KDB for this one.
Hi Matt! If you were having Mahrez and kdb would you cap Mahrez as a differential for a hit maybe 🤔
thanks and cheers
Hi, I would captain KDB (otherwise I would have got Mahrez instead) but Mahrez could also be a good option.
