FPL GW20 fixtures and tips. Every week the brilliant Holly Shand brings us her insight into the blend of FPL fixtures vs FPL form to help us decide on the best transfers for the coming Gameweek.
FPL Gameweek 20 fixtures finally make for some more straightforward reading, given that we don't have any blank or double Gameweeks on the horizon. This will be a welcome change for many after what has been a chaotic start to the year; hopefully we won't see any late postponements or rearrangements either, with longer term planning now at the forefront of our minds.
The combined chart demonstrates the teams with the best balance of form and fixtures going forward. There's also my top three transfer targets for Gameweek 20. The FPL fixtures chart uses the Hub's fixture ticker, focusing on attack for the next four Gameweeks. The form charts also have attack in mind, studying the number of goals scored per game, whilst reflecting the format of the site ticker.

FPL Fixtures Chart
Newcastle United take a significant lead the fixtures chart, with three home games in their next four, and no fixtures against the current top five. However, at the time of writing, they have scored just once in their last five fixtures, making their assets down the pecking order when it comes to transfers in. Callum Wilson (£6.6m) is worth a look in the budget forward category, having netted eight goals this season. The side could be bolstered by the return of Allan Saint-Maximin in attack following a lengthy absence.
Leicester City are among the sides in the chasing pack with a promising run of upcoming fixtures. Harvey Barnes (£6.8m) could be the go-to option in the mid-priced midfielder category now; he's started each of the last seven Premier League games with three goals and one assist in this spell. Teammate James Maddison (£7.1m) also needs to be considered here; he's scored in three consecutive games and dominates set pieces for the Foxes.
FPL Form Chart
Manchester City take top spot in the form chart with Tottenham Hotspur not far behind them. Spurs are on an upwards trajectory; they've scored in each of their last four games, amassing eight goals. Heung-Min Son (£9.7m) is top for big chances in this spell with six, whilst Harry Kane (£11.1m) leads for big chances created with three. The pair have amassed seven attacking returns between them over this spell, with a compelling argument to own both once again.
Worryingly, it's Liverpool who are rock bottom in the form chart, having remarkably failed to score for four consecutive Premier League games. It's no surprise to see Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) suffer a significant loss in popularity; offensive returns are crucial to justify his price tag as the most expensive player in the game. Switching to premium players from Manchester City, Manchester United and Spurs will be popular transfer moves in the coming games.
Form vs Fixtures
The top spot for the Gameweek 20 Fixtures vs Form chart remains unchanged, although the gap at the top has decreased significantly.
