<p><em>The Premier League sprung a surprise on Fantasy managers with a relatively early announcement of FPL Double Gameweeks 24 and 25 on Thursday. Manchester City are the headline act in Gameweek 24, while Leeds have an attractive set of Gameweek 25 fixtures. </em></p>

<h3><b><span lang="EN-US">Juicy doubles</span></b></h3>
<p>Fantasy Premier League plans were thrown out the window last night as news broke of FPL Double Gameweeks for six teams.</p>
<p>Manchester City, Everton, Burnley and Fulham will all play a second time in Gameweek 24 (barring any unforseen circumstances, as FPL managers have become accustomed to this season).</p>

<p>Leeds are set to play Southampton in the midweek following Gameweek 25, handing both teams a Double Gameweek.</p>

<h3>Fixture frenzy</h3>
<p>As illustrated in <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/ben-crellins-fpl-transfer-planning-sheet/">Ben Crellin</a>&#8216;s brilliant spreadsheet above, there will be several other fixtures to be rearranged after the FA Cup fifth round.</p>
<p>Blank Gameweek 29 is a certainty, though how it will shape out and where the fixtures from that week will go is unclear at present.</p>
<p>Additionally, there are four other games that still need rescheduling at the time of writing; Aston Villa vs Everton, Aston Villa vs Spurs, Fulham vs Spurs and Man City vs Southampton.</p>
<p>For the time being, FPL managers can only plan as best as possible with the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">confirmed Double Gameweeks</a>.</p>

<p>Despite a tough-looking run of fixtures, Man City assets are likely to be in big demand for those not already on the triple-up.</p>
<p><strong>Joao Cancelo</strong>&#8216;s (£6.0m) early substitution in Gameweek 22 should bode well for owners. <strong>John Stones</strong> (£5.2m) may have a minutes battle with <strong>Aymeric Laporte</strong> (£6.0m), though Pep Guardiola continues to praise the England defender and <strong>Ruben Dias</strong> (£6.1m) with regularity.</p>

<p><strong>Ilkay Gundogan</strong> (£5.9m) and <strong>Raheem Sterling</strong> (£11.6m) are the two main midfield targets, with no return date set for the injured <strong>Kevin de Bruyne</strong> (£11.8m). In the forward spots, <strong>Gabriel Jesus</strong> (£9.2m) is a risker, potentially profitable pick.</p>
<p>However, the Man City striker may get overlooked in favour of fellow Double Gameweek strikers <strong>Dominic Calvert-Lewin</strong> (£7.6m), <strong>Danny Ings</strong> (£8.4m) and <strong>Patrick Bamford</strong> (£6.6m). <strong>Che Adams</strong> (£5.8m) is another cut-price contender in the forward bracket, while <strong>Chris Wood</strong> (£6.2m) is currently sidelined for goal-shy Burnley.</p>
<p>Bamford&#8217;s midfield colleagues <strong>Raphinha</strong> (£5.3m) and <strong>Jack Harrison</strong> (£5.4m) will also be under consideration, while defender <strong>Stuart Dallas</strong> (£4.8m) is currently operating in a central-midfield role.</p>
<p>The Burnley backline also provides several options in the defender and goalkeeper positions, while Fulham&#8217;s <strong>Alphonse Areola</strong> (£4.5m) is an alternative option to <strong>Nick Pope</strong> (£5.5m) for Double Gameweek 24.</p>
<p>The Cottagers also offer some differential options in midfield, such as <strong>Ademola Lookman</strong> (£5.0m) and potential out-of-position candidate <strong>Ivan Cavaleiro</strong> (£5.3m). However, <strong>Aleksandar Mitrovic</strong> (£5.5m) has started each of Fulham&#8217;s last two fixtures so the Fulham striker role is one to keep an eye on going into Gameweek 23.</p>
