Gameweek 27 Review
A decent week this time, with 64 points slicing the best part of 100k off my overall rank, from 317k to 237k. Still nowhere near where I'd like to be, but it's hopefully a start. My points were certainly bolstered, like many, by my three Liverpool players, and my two transfers in benefited me as well, with Jiménez and, especially, Saïss paying immediate dividends. Greenwood scored, getting 8 points - sadly deep on my bench but I don't mind as it surely increases his chance of more minutes going forward. This is how it all played out:
Gameweek 28 Preview
Here are the upcoming (short term) fixtures up to Gameweek 30, with Gameweek 31 still a bit of an unknown quantity:
Note, the blanks this week for Sheffield United, Arsenal, Man City and Aston Villa. There is also some talk of a potential double Gameweek 29 although this is looking increasingly unlikely.
Now, here's a reminder of the scenarios for the blanks in GW31, courtesy of Ben Crellin. This will all be resolved next week, between GW28 and 29, when the FA Cup 5th Round takes place (no replays):
It looks like we are likely to have around five or six fixtures postponed that week.
The current working assumption is for Double Gameweeks in GW34 and GW37. There is also some talk about a possibility that Man City could have a double Gameweek with an extra fixture against either Arsenal or Chelsea in GW29, although this would probably have to be announced by this Frida's deadline if it was going to be.
