<h2>How to win at FPL: Rotation strategy in FPL</h2>
<p>Within the first two defensive positions, it’s often best to opt for one <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/who-are-the-best-fpl-premium-defenders">premium defender</a> and one mid-priced defender (£5.0m-£5.5m).</p>
<p>These will act as mainstays in your starting 11 and are often attack-minded defenders from top six sides.</p>
<p>For the third defender spot, it's best to go for another mid-priced defensive option or a two or three-way rotation strategy.</p>
<p>Why? Because you can select players that have a good <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture </a>each week, and bench the ones that don’t.</p>
<p>As a general rule, rotating players at the back should not cost more than £4.5m each - although playing £4.0m defenders could change this.</p>
<h2>Two-way player rotation in FPL</h2>
<p>If you’re normally playing three at the back, you're best off to go for two £4.5m budget defenders that rotate home and away with easy fixtures.</p>
<p>The last defender will ideally be a £4.0m asset whose only role is to make up the numbers.</p>
<p>If you’re playing with four at the back then you can operate a two-way rotation with your two cheapest defenders.</p>
