This is freakin brilliant guys! Top work and great to have insights from two experienced pros ??
Wow. Great stuff. I’ve learnt a few things there!
Thank you both! Glad you’re enjoying it. Lots more in the pipeline ?
Good read guys. What do you recommend as a salary structure for 4-4-2?
Thanks
UKGiantsFan. Very similar to the 433 example with some money taken out of defence and attack for the 4th mid. Happy to comment on your team if you want to share?
Have just posted it on the RMT Forum. Expectation is that Richarlison is at Everton and read an article from a Leicester Mercury saying Vardy is expected to be fit to start GW1
I disagree with the club loyalties point, I’m pretty sure that the overall winner of the 16/17 season was an Everton fan and didn’t have a Liverpool player all season. The year was also when’ Mane, Countinho and Firmino we’re scoring for fun and was deeemed pretty “essential” to have 1 or 2 of them.
I believe that limiting yourself to pick from 18/19 teams rather than 20 will naturally steer your team away from a template and create a few differentials which in actual fact could give you an edge.
Finally on a moral level, what’s the point in beating your rival team supporting friends in your mini league if you have used their star striker to do so. All credibility is gone ?
I bet the Everton fan didn’t do to well last year!
If you want an optimal strategy, then limiting the player pool you can select from, can only hurt you in my opinion. Sure, there will always be exceptions and there are very few truly essential players so good fantasy managers can find ways to still do well, but I’d argue they could be doing better.
Understand the credibility point though ?
Having a difficult time getting all the potential bargains in the team :S Getting a bit worried that i might focus to much on them!
Feel like i have a farily balanced team with good rotations:
Begovic-Button
Robertson-Coleman-PVA-Cook-Wan Bissaka
Salah-Eriksen-Sigurdsson-Groß-Kenedy
Agüero-Zaha-Wilson
Plan was to switch and maybe Agüero->Auba in GW3 and Begovic/Zaha into Fab/Arnie around GW10. Also want to try and get Bellerin in there, but my attacking defs all have pretty good fixtures
Welcome to the site
Anorak. Liking the team a lot. My only worry would be that plans tend to go out of the window at the start as there are so many unknowns and those transfers will be precious. It’s a great team though, well balanced with some very nice picks
Greeting from brand new member and thank you for your fantastic article. However I think you might want to fix the 433 and 532 formations as it costs 101.5 M and 101 M. Thanks again.
Welcome Prachya. Good spot, all changed. We are currently revamping these guides, so will have updated versions. Plus video companion guides in the pipeline
