Right here we go….
So after a short break, I have recharged my batteries and I'm really looking forward to this season kicking off. My aim this year is of course to win Sky Fantasy once again but I would be happy with another top 100 finish. Every season it seems to gets tougher and tougher to finish a top finish but I embrace the challenge facing off against other brilliant Sky Fantasy managers. Usually, every pre-season I find myself looking up team sheets on Twitter, checking up online football forums and reading Fantasy Football Hub articles to try and find the next Michu/Soyuncu of previous seasons, but this year with the COVID impact and such a short pre-season its been tough trying to find that player. With this in mind for the first four Gameweeks until the overhaul I will be sticking to the tried and tested players. My aim for the first overhaul is just to be in the pack with anything above classed as a bonus; it's easy to forget it's a marathon, not a sprint. Manchester City and Manchester United missing the first Gameweek had given a big dilemma for managers. It seems most of the Sky Fantasy community are prepared however and seem to be starting with Bruno Fernandes and bringing in Kevin De Bruyne on Monday 21st September. My current plan is to use just one transfer up until the overhaul which will be Aubameyang to De Bruyne as per the status quo.
