There are big prizes on offer once more in Paddy Power’s daily fantasy game, including the huge £12,000 Gameweek 19 Thursday EPL Wonder Strike!

The main tournament of Boxing Day has £12,000 of prizes guaranteed to be won, with 1st place scooping a cool £2,000.

For more details on the all important rules, scoring system and daily fantasy strategy, head over to our preview published just a few weeks ago – it’s a must for any newbies to get ahead of the game!

Star Man: Teemu Pukki vs Aston Villa

Teemu Pukki comes in relatively cheap for the Star Man from Thursday’s slate, with a salary of just £17. In fact, he’s not even the most expensive player in the lineup, but he’s hottly tipped to do the business. In the reverse fixture, Aston Villa beat Norwich 5-1 and The Canaries will look for revenge on their opponents.

Pukki had a barren spell but is almost back to the form we saw him in at the start of the season. He has three goals from his last five games and the underlying statistics are promising too: he’s taken seven shots on goal in his last four games, which is third among all Premier League players.

Aston Villa are turning into the whipping boys of the Premier League, having just conceded three goals at home to Southampton. Tyrone Mings and John McGinn are big losses to their setup, particularly from a defensive perspective, so expect Pukki to get plenty of festive joy in this one.

Goals Galore: Chelsea vs Southampton

It’s a combined one clean sheet across their last six games for Chelsea and Southampton, having both conceded eight goals apiece over that spell. Expect more goals in this one for either side. Willian looks to be the form man from Chelsea, having bagged a brace in that impressive 2-0 win against Spurs last weekend.

Elsewhere in the Chelsea attack, Christian Pulisic has been frustrating fantasy managers for some time, but he’s still had ten shots in his last four games. He was rested last time around, meaning his gametime could be more secure for this one.

The man of the moment has to be Danny Ings. He’s on an incredible goal-scoring run, with those dodgy hamstrings being a thing of the past. His four goals in the last four games puts him joint with Willian as the most expensive member of the squad, with a salary of £18, but he should be worth every penny.

Clean Sheet Stack: Sheffield United (vs Watford)

According to the bookies, Sheffield United have a very good chance of keeping a clean sheet this weekend. No side can better their seven clean sheets for the season, and opponents Watford have failed to score in the most matches this season (10).

Winning the game gives a 7 point bonus for goalkeepers, plus there’s 10 points for a shut-out. Dean Henderson has made seven saves in his last four games and shouldn’t be bothered too much by a Watford side who have failed to find the target five times on the road this season.

Jack O’Connell and John Egan fill the defensive slots. There are high hopes that this pair can pick up the 5 point clean sheet bonus. Jack O’Connell has an assist this season. Egan is still awaiting his first attacking return of the season, but could be moving closer to it, having had three shots in his last four games.
