Sky Fantasy Football Gameweek 11 Review

It was a frustrating week for many, with Chelsea defenders missing out in the shape of Azpilicueta and Christensen.

Rudiger started but missed out on passing bonus by a solitary pass, although he did get a clean sheet. I'll stick with the three Chelsea defenders I currently own for now although I am getting annoyed with Tuchel's rotation. I would like Ben Chilwell though who has 42 points in his last three matches.

Ben Chilwell Stats

Over 5,000 teams brought in Kai Havertz who failed to get any returns in a 7-0 win, not even shots bonus. I didn't make that move, I'm just still thinking how many goals could Romelu Lukaku have scored had he started.

Manchester City conceded a needless penalty and there was no passing bonus for Dias and Laporte, maybe a slightly worrying trend particularly for Dias at £10.6m.

Harry Kane blanked again on Sunday as Spurs lost 1-0 to West Ham although Michail Antonio owners would have been pleased with yet another goal. I'm regretting not having the Jamaican international especially given his cheap price tag.

I did consider going with Kane as captain in one of my teams for about ten seconds then switched back the captaincy to Mohamed Salah. I always though that Liverpool would beat Solskjaer's side but I would never have predicted a 5-0 and especially a Salah hattrick.

It was 52 points for the Egyptian if you made him your captain but I wouldn't feel bad if you didn't captain him; you can never predict these things and Antonio, Kane and Jamie Vardy were more than viable alternatives in my opinion.

I said last week that Vardy is one of those players that I always end up on the wrong side of and those that brought him in would have been annoyed to see him withdrawn at half time with an injury obtained in the pre match warm up. Manager Brendan Rodgers has said he should be fine for this weekend, but either way as the game with Arsenal is the first kick off of the day you can check to see if he is starting.

Talking of injuries - Mbeumo went off with a precautionary injury in the second half and Pinnock was also taken off at half time with both considered by many in the last week. Furthermore Brentford's goalkeeper Raya was ruled out for 4-5 months earlier this week.

Brentford don't currently have a back up keeper listed in Sky Fantasy so if they add one he won't be cheap. I'd be more worried about Brentford defensively with their first choice keeper out.

Dare you not captain Salah at home to Brighton? Now he's in 99% of the top 1000 teams you're taking a big risk by not making him your captain. He'll be my captain for fear of a big drop down the rankings.
