Cristiano Ronaldo earned his first man of the match award. No doubt it'll be the first of many, and it was probably to be expected anyway as the Portuguese made his Old Trafford return.

Adama Traore took home his second man of the match in four games: quite impressive considering he hasn't been involved in any attacking returns. Traore leads the way with two awards this season along with Conor Gallagher, Michail Antonio and Ivan Toney.

Gameweek 5 Bonus Beneficiaries

Here are this week's bonus points (courtesy of ffstuff.co.uk)

Ruben Neves was the only player to pick up double bonus. It was a disappointing weekend for many, especially for the passing defenders. Only Thiago Silva from Chelsea achieved passing bonus, just scraping tier one.

Joel Matip was the only one to hit tier one passing for Liverpool - and that was only due to a massive amount late on as Leeds played with ten men.

For Manchester City, Aymeric Laporte and Ruben Dias were the only two players in the whole team to achieve tier two passing.

None of the Arsenal or Brighton players achieved any passing bonus either, which is especially worrying for managers who already have Ben White for the single game days.

Transfer Trends

There will be a lot of transfers being made this week. The red card for Antonio and injuries for Adam Webster and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have forced many people's hands.

Personally, I started the Overhaul with Calvert-Lewin. I’ve been well and truly tucked up here. I’m really disappointed in myself for starting with him. I didn’t even have him in my side until late in the day.

You’ve got to forget these mistakes and move on. Don’t dwell on it. I actually heard he was out on Sunday night but, alas, it was too late for me as I'd already started with him.

Below shows the transfers out since Saturday.

Player Ownership

Above shows the ownership amongst the top 1000 managers. Mohamed Salah leads the way, followed closely by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Who would have ever thought that Demarai Gray would be at 69% ownership. Certainly not me. The Everton man rewarded owners with a goal on Monday: he’s certainly on a great streak of form.

Bruno Fernandes at 19% must be the lowest his ownership has ever been amongst the top 1000 teams.

Average Transfers Remaining

This is the first figures we have had from Sky and it never fails to amaze. I'd like to think that the majority of the top 10 are going for the manager of the month. There's no way they're going to last the length of the season having used 15 transfers in the first five gameweeks.
