The mid-week fixtures brought some frustration for fantasy managers with a lot of top quality players rested for the matches. The points scored, was slightly above average with 966 points. Arsenal was the highest scorers with 120 points (the highest of the season) following their 5-0 thrashing of Huddersfield (who had the lowest score of 2 points).

Bonus by player
The table of top players by different points and awards is:
Sir Harry Kane pops up on my charts and it’s time to shine the spotlight on his performances.
Currently, he is by far the top scoring striker with 106 points. He has made 13 out of a possible 14 starts, with 10 goals, 1 assist and 4 MotMs. He has also picked up five shot bonuses. His underlying stats have him scoring 47.6% of the team goals while having 42.3% of the shots on target, he has 4.8% of the assists compared to 6.4% of the team’s key passes. This seems to suggest he is scoring around a level you would expect.
Based on current form Kane is scoring at a rate of 0.63 points per match per £m. This is the third highest for the strikers so far this season. However, last season this figure would be 0.74, so we know there is room for improvement.
He falls short of being a must have, but the figures suggest he is a very good player for his price. I have him in both my teams.
My first team brought in Christensen of Chelsea for a clean sheet and was going to bring in Azpilicueta until I saw the team sheet and him being rested (hope to bring him in on Saturday). There was no outstanding performances and stand around 180.
I thought the second team did quite well with de Bruyne being captain but still slipped down to 11th. With a self-imposed transfer ban, it’ll be just a matter of choosing the captains for this weekend.
