This week there was 883 points scored. Despite scoring six goals Man City only scored 86 points, which was equalled by Liverpool. Huddersfield achieved a rare feat of having a total of minus one for the team.
Man of the match

The normal order has been restored with Man City achieving the most bonus awards closely followed by the usual suspects. Liverpool lead the total bonus awards so far, but both Chelsea and Man City are close behind.

It’s interesting that five Chelsea players have picked-up two passing bonuses.
Horizon scanning
It is still very early in the season to draw many conclusions from limited data, though as noted above Chelsea have picked up a lot of a lot of passing bonuses. In fact, they currently have more passes than any other team in the league (even more than Man City). This indicates a change in play and worth watching their players more closely leading up to the overhaul.
My team
As I mentioned last week, I plan on making no transfer pre-overhaul and this is still my plan. With Peltier and Walker not playing with Wan-Bissaka getting a red card meant it became difficult to achieve a high score. I must admit I wasn’t looking forward to Saturday without having any Spurs players while they played home to Fulham and no big teams playing. I thought Kane may be a popular captain and a hat-trick would really hurt. As it turned out with Richarlison as captain (scoring and MotM) meant I escaped a possible nightmare. My other captains were more straight-forward with Kun and Salah, giving me a weekly score of 110 points (total now 217 points).
