FPL Algorithm Team for Gameweek 26
I was expecting a green arrow this week with Salah being captain and a couple of Liverpool defenders; however due to Liverpool recently having a double Gameweek and many teams around my rank looking similar, the team only went up in rank by around 5k on Saturday night. I was hopeful of some returns from De Bruyne and Mahrez from the Sunday games however they both flopped and I ended up with a drop in rank of around 5k for the week.
With Man City and Sheffield United both having blanks soon due to the Carabao Cup final and both still challenging for the FA Cup, I’ll be moving these players on (Man City have a tough run of fixtures which will make this easier). With Lundstram's place being in doubt I have already dropped him from the squad and replaced him with Boly. With Wolves already being knocked out of the FA Cup, they already have a fixture scheduled home to Bournemouth in the blank Gameweek 31. This doesn’t drive my decision making but does keep my options open going forward.
My Man City assets can stay to play at home to West Ham and then it will be time to say au revoir (goodbye for now), as am sure they will be back in my wildcard and double Gameweek planning.
My team for this week is:
