<h1>Ultimate Fan Euro 2020 Group Stage 3 Team Reveal</h1>
<p><i>The <a href="https://ultimatefan.app.link/FFH-Web">Ultimate Fan app</a> has launched just in time for this summers big Euro 2020 tournament, with a <strong>huge £125,000 of cash prizes up for grabs</strong>. It&#8217;s a really fun fantasy football game that combines fantasy football and pack openings. </i></p>

<h2><strong>Ultimate Fan Euro 2020 Group Stage 3 Contest</strong></h2>
<p>The action on Ultimate Fan continues with their Group Stage 3 Contest on Sunday June 20. There&#8217;s a £15,000 prize pool, with first place receiving £2,500 and payouts all the way down to 340th place.</p>

<p>It’s important to understand the scoring matrix when creating those lineups, as it does differ from FPL. Goals are worth more than double the points of an assist and only defenders gain clean sheet points.</p>
<p>When picking a team, the win bonus is an important factor to bear in mind, with five points on offer. There&#8217;s also team points on offer for a clean sheet and each goal scored, but points will be deduced for goals conceded.</p>
<p>You must pick a team of five players; including two defenders, two midfielders and one forward. A team must also be selected.</p>

<h2>Journey So Far</h2>
<p>Since opening the initial packs and buying the gold subscription I have been extremely lucky with who I have packed.  Only receiving one team, <strong>Sweden</strong>, has worked out well so far with clean sheets and a recent win helping the points balances.</p>
<p>But it is the striking department where the Ultimate Fan gods have been looking down &#8211; Ronaldo, Lukaku and Depay have meant I have had benching headaches aplenty so far, just a shame only 1 can appear in the team.</p>
<p>A supplementary cast including Mount, Carrasco E Hazard, P Torres and Trippier amongst others has given me a great base to start from.</p>

<h2>Euro 2020 Group Stage 1 Result</h2>
<p>I managed to get 54 points from the first set of games in no small part thanks to a late Ronaldo double, which given the golden boot add on as well, accounted for nearly all my points, a 0-0 in the Spain vs Sweden game contributed the rest of the points for the week.</p>
<p>Unfortunately choices of Rudiger, Carrasco and Oliviera yielded no points, had I have gone with Trippier it would have given me a few more points but not enough to get into the next prize bracket, still £15 back for my initial £4.99 subscription fee is a great start.</p>

<h2>Euro 2020 Group Stage 2 Result</h2>
<p>Having plumped for Depay as my striking option ahead of Lukaku and Ronaldo, the Dutch strikers goal with the golden boot add on has given me a solid 22 point start although later to be beaten by Ronaldo&#8217;s goal and assist vs Germany, but still happy with the choice given the opposition both faced.</p>
<p>Sweden digging out a 1-0 win gave me nine points which I will take for the team. Disappointments have been going Carrasco over Eden Hazard (didn&#8217;t think Hazard would have enough time off the bench to produce much) and Mario Fernandes going off early for Russia to miss out on the clean sheet points.</p>
<p>Although in hindsight choosing defenders like I did in Pau Torres over Robin Gosens was a beginners mistake with the clean sheet only being worth three points vs the attacking potential of shots on target, assists and goals it is much better to go full backs over centre backs!</p>
<p>Mason Mount provided a solid 12 points with the captaincy armband due to his shots on target and tackles won but it was just not enough to secure that prize position of the top 300 finishing a respectable 398th with Gosens and Hazard staring at me from the bench with both looking prime candidates for the line up in Group Stage 3</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the players and teams I have available to me, with Gold cards in bold.</p>
<p>Teams: Sweden</p>
<p>Defenders: Gosens, P Torres, M Fernandes, Kral, Lotomba, Rudiger, Trippier</p>
<p>Midfielders: <strong>Hazard, Mount, Sabitzer, Thiago</strong>, Carrasco, Oliviera</p>
<p>Forwards: <strong>Depay, Lukaku, Arnautovic, Ronaldo</strong>, Pohjanpalo</p>

<h2>Euro 2020 Groups Stage 3 Lineups</h2>
<p>Taking all of the above data into account, I&#8217;ve constructed my lineup for the £15,000 Group Stage 3 Contest.</p>
<p>The team is easy as I only have the 1, and with 2 clean sheets so far and all still to play for I am more than happy with Sweden as the pick.</p>
<p>The two defenders, given the mistake I made last time, means <strong>Robin Gosens</strong> is straight in, playing the weakest team needing to win and looking extremely dangerous he may also get the armband for double points.</p>
<p>The second slot is slightly trickier; Lotomba hasn&#8217;t played, Fernandes is a major doubt and Kral is up against England, it leaves the central defending pair of Rudiger and Torres both who could get clean sheets but offer not much more going forward, or <strong>Kieran Trippier</strong> who has a slightly less chance of a clean sheet but more attacking potential &#8211; but will he start?</p>
<p>It is a tough one but I think I will plump with the bigger upside with the English full back.</p>
<p>The two midfielders again come from three potentials, Oliviera hasn&#8217;t had the game time, Carrasco is in danger if being dropped with Hazard definitely starting and Thiago isn&#8217;t really an attacking option.</p>
<p><strong>Eden Hazard </strong>has already been given the nod of starting so is a definite in the team so it is a shoot out between Mount and Sabitzer &#8211; a real 50/50 call but I think <strong>Mason Mount </strong>just edges it, I think he still starts the final game and probably offers a slight bit more attacking output.</p>
<p>The striker spot is as ever the toughest choice; Arnautovic is an easy swerve as is Pohjanpalo. The Netherlands are already safely through so Depay is a rotation risk with the same potentially happening with Lukaku so the safest option is <strong>Ronaldo &#8211;  </strong>he may have a difficult tie but proved against the Germans he can score against anyone.</p>
<p>Using the MODS, it&#8217;s the most likely goalscorer in Ronaldo who get&#8217;s the <strong>Golden Boot </strong>for potential double points on any goals. Gosens wears the <strong>Captain</strong>&#8216;s Arm Band, as he guns for more attacking returns and a clean sheet.</p>
