The Algorithm is a statistical spreadsheet tool developed by our resident statistician Carl Weeks. It uses various spread betting odds and expected bonus to determine the expected points for each player. Carl has created this statistical beast so that it can be used for FPL, Sky & TFF games. In this series, he uses is to guide his own team in Sky and TFF formats.

The Algorithm Sky Team
It has been a very hectic festive period with games coming thick and fast. Rotation of players hurt my scoring, in particular captaining Vardy for his two blank games. When playing, the team did score slightly above expectation. The big news of the festive period was the Liverpool re-arranged match being announced and the second overhaul being delayed by a week.
With Liverpool having an extra game before the second overhaul I made changes of Burn (injured), Aubameyang and Alli out for Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk and Lundstram (single match on Friday and scoring well). Liverpool have a couple of tricky fixtures (Spurs and Man United) before playing the last match in a single match day the week before playing West Ham which is where I will look to bring in a few more players.
