Who has the best and worst fixture runs over the next few weeks as we approach what might be a popular time to play the first FPL Wildcard of the season?
Here, we look at how many of the leading FPL managers still have the chip in hand and use the Hub&#8217;s <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">customisable ticker</a> to analyse the fixtures over two six-week periods &#8211; Gameweek 9-14 and Gameweek 10-15.

<h2>How many FPL managers are yet to use their Wildcard?</h2>
The majority of the top 250,000 managers in the game are yet to use their first <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-wildcard-and-when-to-use-it">Wildcard</a>.
Around 108,000 managers &#8211; 43.17% &#8211; had used the chip by the end of Gameweek 8, leaving more than half still to activate it.
They have until the Gameweek 20 deadline on Saturday, December 30 to use it, after which the second Wildcard becomes available.
Some of our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fantasy-premier-league-team-reveals">FPL experts</a>, who reveal their teams on the Hub each week, have identified Gameweek 10 as potentially the best time to use it.
This is to take advantage of fixture swings &#8211; the point when some teams&#8217; runs improve as others encounter more difficult matches.

<h2>Best and worst fixture runs from FPL Gameweek 9</h2>
Here are the teams with the best and worst fixtures between Gameweek 9 and 14:
<h3>Best: Aston Villa, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Arsenal, Brentford</h3>
Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal players will be of particular interest from Gameweek 9.
Liverpool and Villa are among the top four for expected goals (xG) so far this season, while Arsenal rank seventh for xG and are second best for expected goals conceded (xGC).
The next two games for Liverpool are strong, with Everton and Nottingham Forest heading to Anfield.
Mohamed Salah (£12.6m) is in 34.8% of FPL teams but that figure is rising. He is the most popular transfer in ahead of Gameweek 9, with 144,000 buying him since the end of Gameweek 8.

Those playing their Wildcard might even consider Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.9m), who is in just 8% of squads.

The fitness of Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) may play a key role in transfer activity over the next two weeks.
Arsenal play Chelsea away in Gameweek 9 but have a prime home fixture against Sheffield United in Gameweek 10.
Gabriel Martinelli (£7.7m) marked his return to fitness in Gameweek 8 with a goal against Manchester City and could be an alternative &#8211; or even an addition &#8211; to Saka.
And those holding Bryan Mbeumo (£6.8m) may think twice about taking him out ahead of playing Burnley at home in Gameweek 9, although their long-term fixtures take a turn for the worse from Gameweek 10.
Bournemouth have struggled under new manager Andoni Iraola, which may see FPL managers look elsewhere despite their fixture run.
But Dominic Solanke (£6.4m) could be one to consider on Wildcard. The Cherries striker has three goals and one assist this season, and Wolves and Burnley at home could be games in which he adds to his tally.

<h3>Worst: Fulham, Luton, Chelsea, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur</h3>
Spurs enter a tougher run of fixtures, although those tripled up on their players may wait until Gameweek 10 before moving any on.
Their Gameweek 9 opponents Fulham have conceded 13 goals, with the fourth-worst xGC. Six of those goals have been conceded at home.
Outside of Spurs, Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno (£4.7m) is the only player from teams with the worst-rated fixtures with more than 10% ownership (16.1%).
Leno is level with Sam Johnstone (£4.5m) as the highest-scoring goalkeeper &#8211; and owners without a Wildcard will hope he can continue picking up points, having made the joint-fifth most saves.
A home game against Arsenal, followed by matches against Brentford, Spurs, Manchester City and Newcastle may be enough for Raheem Sterling (£7.0m) owners to move him on.
The Chelsea midfielder scored 16 points in Gameweek 8, finding the net once and assisting twice against Burnley, but his upcoming fixtures are among the toughest in the league.

From Gameweek 10-15, the top and bottom of the fixture ticker is as follows:
<h3>Best: Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Brighton, Burnley, Liverpool</h3>
Arsenal and Liverpool remain in the top five, with Villa, Bournemouth and Brentford dropping out.
It&#8217;s still good news for those targeting Villa players, with their fixtures still sixth best overall.
Bournemouth drop to 14th though, while Brentford fall to 15th.
With Manchester City out of the way, Brighton&#8217;s fixture become more favourable once again. Targeting their players is likely to be a strategy for those playing their Wildcard ahead of the Gameweek 10 deadline.
They host Fulham at the Amex on the Sunday (October 29) but with a Europa League match against Ajax three days earlier, Roberto De Zerbi could have rotation in mind.
The Seagulls manager made nine and six changes to his starting 11 after Brighton&#8217;s first two Europa League group games, which FPL managers must bear in mind.
Kaoru Mitoma (£6.6m) for example was benched in Gameweek 6 after playing 86 minutes in Europe, although owners were rewarded with a second-half brace.

The Japanese international was then a starter in Gameweek 8, having played the whole game against Marseille, so there is an element of unpredictability when it comes to De Zerbi&#8217;s selections.
Brighton&#8217;s rivals Crystal Palace top the ticker, with three home games against Spurs, Everton and Bournemouth in the next six. Their away games come against Luton, Burnley and West Ham.
Those playing their Wildcard in Gameweek 9 may avoid Crystal Palace defenders due to them playing away to Newcastle, however those with Johnstone, Marc Guehi (£4.5m) and Joachim Andersen (£4.9m) could be in line for a clean sheet or two from Gameweek 10 onwards.

Chelsea, Luton and Spurs remain in the bottom five, as they were for Gameweek 9-14.
The prospects for Everton and Fulham improve slightly, who rank 12th and 14th.
Brentford and Manchester City meanwhile drop into the bottom five.
It&#8217;s a big drop for the Bees, whose Gameweek 9 fixture against Burnley put them in the top five between Gameweek 9 and 14.
The six-week run from Gameweek 10 brings Brighton away into the equation, weakening their prospects.
City&#8217;s games from Gameweek 10 are Manchester United, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Liverpool Spurs and Villa.
According to our ticker though, they are still fancied to score around 13 goals in that time, more than any other team.
