<h3><strong>Aaron Ramsdale (£4.6m)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Arsenal </strong>rank second best for xGC over their last four games which has seen them keep three clean sheets. As a budget option, <strong>Ramsdale</strong> fits the bill at home to <strong>Crystal</strong> <strong>Palace</strong>.</p>

<h3><b>Aymeric Laporte (£5.5m) and Joao Cancelo (£6.1m)</b></h3>
<p><strong>Manchester</strong> <strong>City&#8217;s</strong> defence has been incredible this season with their only blip coming last Gameweek against <strong>Liverpool</strong>.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve decided to go for the double up against <strong>Burnley</strong> who have only scored more than one goal once this season.</p>
<p><strong> Laporte</strong> saves me a bit of cash and seems to be back in <strong>Pep Guardiola&#8217;s</strong> good books this season.</p>
<p><strong>Cancelo</strong> is clearly the most attacking option to go with and he&#8217;s ranked<strong> top for final third passes amongst defender this season with 188</strong>.</p>

<p>Target <strong>Norwich</strong> hasn&#8217;t fared too badly in recent weeks. As a result, I&#8217;m going to continue that trend with <strong>Brighton</strong> this week.</p>
<p>Only Man City have conceded fewer shots (37) and shots inside the box (20 than Brighton over the last four games.</p>

<h2>The Best Gameweek 8 Midfielders</h2>
<h3><strong>Heung-Min Son (£10.1m)</strong></h3>
<p>Despite the likely buzz around the stadium and amongst the players, I still think <strong>Newcastle</strong> is a fixture worth targeting.</p>
<p>While Spurs are bang out of form, <strong>Son</strong> is showing some form. His numbers don&#8217;t stand out but he has <strong>registered a big chance a game on average over the last three</strong> and has <strong>created six key passes</strong>.</p>

<h3><strong>Mohammed Salah (£12.7m)</strong></h3>
<p>It was a breathtaking performance against Man City and it&#8217;s no surprise he was the first name on the teamsheet this week. <strong>Watford</strong> is a great fixture for him to go big again in Gameweek 8.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3><strong>Jack Grealish (£7.9m)</strong></h3>
<p>I&#8217;ve rolled the roulette wheel in Man City&#8217;s midfield. This is despite normally ending up on the wrong side of the roll.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s hard to believe <strong>Grealish has started every game</strong> this season and a game against Burnley is difficult to turn down this week.</p>

<h3><strong>Bukayo Saka (£6.3m) </strong></h3>
<p>Arsenal have turned their bad start around and are providing some good value options in the midfield.</p>
<p>Saka<strong> ranks third amongst midfielders</strong> over the last four games for shots inside the box (9). He has accumulated just the one big chance though.</p>
<p>His eight key passes has helped him reach two assists over that period and he&#8217;s one of the main cogs in <strong>Mikel</strong> <strong>Arteta&#8217;s</strong> team.</p>
<p><strong>Crystal</strong> <strong>Palace&#8217;s</strong> defence have been hit or miss this season but at £6.3m, Saka offers good value to facilitate several big hitters.</p>

<h2>Best Gameweek 8 Forwards</h2>
<h3><strong>Romelu Lukaku (£11.7m)</strong></h3>
<p>Despite some fitness concerns, <strong>Lukaku</strong> seems fine to play against Brentford in Gameweek 8.</p>
<p>The Belgian was extremely unlucky to blank last Gameweek so I have no concern about his three consecutive blanks.</p>
<p>Chelsea have been over-performing their xG in recent games. Yet I think they&#8217;ll have plenty of chances against <strong>Brentford</strong> despite the <strong>Bees</strong>&#8216; impressive start to the season.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3><strong>Neal Maupay (£6.6m) </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Maupay&#8217;s</strong> numbers don&#8217;t stand out but he&#8217;s been ticking over points wise. He has had <strong>two big chances</strong> in his last four games with a <strong>1.26 xG</strong> tally but when you&#8217;re up against Norwich, I think he&#8217;s most certainly worth a try.</p>

<h3><strong>Raul Jimenez (£7.5m)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Jimenez</strong> delivered the goods in <strong>Gameweek 7</strong> with a brace of assists and he&#8217;s staying in the eleven against <strong>Aston Villa</strong>. After all, the <strong>Villains</strong> have a lot of international players who will struggle to return in time for tomorrow&#8217;s match.</p>
<p>His <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a> are a bit of an anomaly as he has recorded five shots, four inside the box and four big chances in his last four games.</p>
<p>Despite having limited chances, he&#8217;s getting very high-quality ones. But his big appeal is his creativity, which adds another string to his bow. His three big chances created are second highest for forwards over the last four.</p>
