Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) – Manchester City</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Southampton (H)</strong></p>
<p>Manchester City have kept the most clean sheets (four) so far and also conceded the third least goals (nine). They also have the best expected goals conceded figure (xGC) of 6.9 in the league and it's clear they are the best defence.</p>
<p>They come up against Southampton this week and this looks like a great fixture for them at both ends of the pitch.</p>
<p>City are the second favourites to keep a clean sheet (50%) and the clear favourites to score 2.5+ goals (67%).</p>
<p>This is a fine fixture for Cancelo for clean sheet prospects and also his attacking output.</p>
<p>Although his attacking stats are nowhere near as good as last season he does have one goal and one assist already and due to the favourable fixture I wouldn’t be surprised if he adds to his tally.</p>
<p>He also has four assists in his three Champions League games this term.</p>
<p>Our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Points Prediction Tool</a> has him as the highest-scoring defender (6.4 points) for Gameweek 10 and he is also at 75% for anytime returns.</p>

<h3><strong>James Justin (£4.3m) – Leicester City</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Bournemouth (a)</strong></p>
<p>Justin has two assists so far and has created five chances with an expected assists tally (xA) of 0.23. He has started every game in the league and looks nailed in that backline.</p>
<p>Leicester City kept their first clean sheet last week as well as registering their first win of the season. The Foxes have another good chance to keep a clean sheet.</p>
<p>They come up against Bournemouth who have only scored six goals (18th) and have the worst expected goals (xG) figure in the league of 4.34. Looking at their attacking stats so far they are the worst attacking side in the division.</p>
<p>Justin has plenty of attacking threat and can play on both sides. Looking at his price and the fact he is nailed to start, he is their best defensive option.</p>
<p>The Cherries are also in the bottom five for both goals conceded and xGC so he will have opportunities for returns at both ends of the pitch.</p>
<p>Leicester won't get many better chances this season to keep a clean sheet and they could well make it two in a row after a run of seven games conceding.</p>

<h3><strong>Aaron Cresswell (£4.8m) – West Ham United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Fulham (H)</strong></p>
<p>West Ham United kept only their second clean sheet of the season last Gameweek but they have been unlucky not to have kept more.</p>
<p>They have only conceded nine goals (third) with an xGC of 9.7 (fifth).</p>
<p>They come up against Fulham in Gameweek 10 and this is a great opportunity for them to register their third clean sheet.</p>
<p>The Cottagers have been good going forward this season, scoring 13 goals (seventh) with an xG of 10.88 (10th) but they will do well to score here.</p>
<p>Also, they could well be without their star striker <strong>Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.9m)</strong> who came off injured against Newcastle United last Gameweek.</p>
<p>The bookmakers have the Hammers as the third favourites to manage a shut out (37%).</p>
<p>Cresswell has plenty of attacking threat. Although he doesn’t have any returns this season, he has created the most chances from the West Ham defence (11) and also has the highest xA (0.45).</p>
<p>He is also on corners and direct free-kicks, so will always have a chance of returns.</p>
<p>He has 10 goals and 33 assists in his last eight seasons in the Premier League and it's only a matter of time before he adds to those tallies.</p>

<h3><strong>Reece James (£6.0m) – Chelsea</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Wolves (H)</strong></p>
<p>Chelsea have been nowhere near their best this season and have only kept one clean sheet in the league this season.</p>
<p>James has one goal and one assist and is still the best defensive asset for them.</p>
<p>Graham Potter's team have a fantastic fixture from a defensive viewpoint in Gameweek 10.</p>
<p>They come up against Wolves at home, who have been one of the poorest attacking sides in the league so far. They have scored the least goals (three) and have the third-worst xGC (8.08) also.</p>
<p>The bookmakers have Chelsea as the favourites to keep a clean sheet in Gameweek 10 at 51%. They are also the second favourites to score 2.5+ goals (38%) which bodes well for James.</p>
<p>The Englishman has plenty of attacking threat and currently has the highest xG (0.69) and xA (1.21) among the Chelsea defence. He also picked up a clean sheet, goal and assist in the midweek Champions League game against AC Milan.</p>
<p>The right-back is the second-highest scoring defender (5.9 points) according to our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Points Prediction Tool.</a></p>

<h3><strong>Kieran Trippier (£5.5m) – Newcastle United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Brentford (H)</strong></p>
<p>Trippier has four clean sheets, one goal and one assist so far this season. He has registered an xG of 0.34 and created 15 chances, with an xA of 1.35.</p>
<p>Newcastle United welcome Brentford to St. James' Park in Gameweek 10. The Bees have been one of the best sides in the league going forward. They have scored 15 goals (fifth) with an xG of 14.05 (seventh).</p>
<p>But Newcastle are a much improved team and have been one of the best defensive teams thus far. Thomas Frank's men won't find it easy to score here.</p>
<p>Newcastle have conceded only eight goals (second) with an xGC of 12.1 (12th) and bear in mind they have played Manchester City (H), Brighton (a), and Liverpool (a) who have been among the best attacking teams in the league.</p>
<p>Trippier has both goal and assist threat and he is also on set-pieces. He takes direct free-kicks and has a good record for Newcastle, scoring three for them already.</p>
<p>The Toon are also the fourth-favourites to keep a clean sheet in Gameweek 10 at 36%.</p>
