<h2>Best FPL Wildcard Team for Double Gameweek 31 &#8211; Goalkeepers</h2>

<h3>Aaron Ramsdale (£5.1m)</h3>
<p>Ramsdale is averaging nearly five FPL points per game and has already kept 12 clean sheets this season with 10 games in hand. His ability to accumulate save points while playing for a solid defence allows him to haul big sets him apart from his counterparts. Arsenal don&#8217;t have any cup or European commitments either so can concentrate fully on the league.</p>
<p>He is an injury doubt for this week but should be a good hold for the remainder of the season.</p>

<p>This is an expensive goalkeeper pairing but Ramsdale and Pope rotate really well and I can see plenty of hauls between them till the end of the season.</p>
<p>Burnley have a double in Gameweek 31 and 33, followed by another in Gameweek 34 or 35. Pope has the best baseline bonus per minutes ratio among the Burnley defenders, so whenever Burnley keep a clean sheet, Pope has a chance of hauling big.</p>

<h3>Joao Cancelo (£6.9m)</h3>
<p>The defender with the highest number of shots in the league playing for the defence which has the best xG conceded in the league. Does it get any better than that?</p>

<h3>Reece James (£6.2m)</h3>
<p>Chelsea have a great run of fixtures coming up, with two double Gameweeks left to be scheduled. If Chelsea lose in the Champions League against Real Madrid, they could have one of those doubles in Gameweek 35.</p>
<p>There is no doubt about James’ potential – the fact that he is only behind Alexander-Arnold among defenders when it comes to xGi per 90 should tell you about his explosiveness. He has already registered three FPL scores of 18 points or more this season, and has every chance of adding to that tally with some enticing fixtures coming up.</p>
<p>Tuchel has said that James is “ready to go” this week which makes him a great differential heading into the run-in.</p>

<p>With the best baseline BPS among all Liverpool defenders, Robertson is comfortably the most likely to pick up bonus points as well.</p>
<p>He’s on set pieces which seriously boosts him in the chance creation charts. This gives him lots of avenues to points, and serious haul potential. No wonder he is averaging 8.3 FPL points per match (since Gameweek 13) and is top among defenders for FPL points this calendar year.</p>

<p>White has been one of the most under-rated defenders in FPL this season. He is completely nailed, cheap and bonus friendly. Arsenal have a <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">great run of fixtures</a> with two Double Gameweeks coming up and no European or FA Cup commitments &#8211; what&#8217;s not to like?</p>

<h3>Connor Roberts (£4.4m)</h3>
<p>Roberts has started all of Burnley&#8217;s previous 10 Premier League matches and is the cheapest route into their defence. With three doubles left in the run-in, Roberts could provide good value.</p>

<p>Saka in this sort of form would be one of the first names on my Wildcard team sheet. He has the best xGi among all Arsenal players this season, and offers great value in his price range.</p>

<p>Kulusevski is a great enabler to own, having cemented his place in the Spurs team having registered seven attacking returns in his previous seven starts. Even though Spurs don&#8217;t immediately have a double coming up, Spurs have a good run of fixtures which makes Kulusevski a good asset to own.</p>

<p>Barnes has returned in 10 of his previous 14 starts and is a good long term buy, keeping in mind that Leicester are likely to double in all of the upcoming Double Gameweeks 33, 36 and 37.</p>

<p>Everton midfielder Gordon stands out as the budget enabler to own with three double Gameweeks to play till the end of the season. Since Lampard has taken over, he is ranked best among all Everton players for shots and xGi as well.</p>

<h2>Best FPL Wildcard Team for Gameweek 31 &#8211; Forwards</h2>

<p>Kane has hit another level since Conte has taken over. He remains Spurs&#8217; biggest goal and assist threat, ranking top for both big chances and big chances created since the Italian took over. In fact, Kane is best in the league for non penalty xGi since Conte took over! This falls in line with Conte&#8217;s comments on using Kane much closer to goal, as opposed to his previous managers.</p>

<p>As mentioned above, Burnley have a double in Gameweek 31 and 33 potentially followed by another in Gameweek 34 or 35. In between these fixtures is a favourable tie against Norwich as well.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s be real &#8211; Weghorst&#8217;s <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a> are very poor, but Burnley have it all to play for and with the lack of appealing forwards available at the moment, Weghorst is a risk free player to own just for the appearance points alone.</p>

<p>Adams has been more secure for minutes than Broja in recent weeks and is ranked best among all Southampton players for xG and xGi over the previous six matches. Southampton are up against a poor Leeds defence this week before doubling again in Gameweek 33 which explains the thought process behind my Adams selection.</p>
