<h2>Best FPL Wildcard Team for Double Gameweek 36 &#8211; Goalkeepers</h2>

<h3>Kasper Schmeichel (£4.9m)</h3>
<p>Schmeichel is the only Leicester asset who I can safely say should start all of their remaining five games in the league. I don’t rate the Leicester defence that highly, but they do have two back-to-back Double Gameweeks and Schmeichel tends to make quite a few saves which makes him likely to haul whenever Leicester are to keep a clean sheet.</p>

<p>Alexander-Arnold is the first name on my Wildcard draft. The defender with the best xGi per 90 this season, playing for one of the best defences in the league in a Double Gameweek, fighting for the title. Non-negotiable.</p>

<h3>Matthew Cash (£5.3m)</h3>
<p>I have selected Cash as a result of his successive Double Gameweeks &#8211; and particularly for his <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">favourable Gameweek 37 fixtures</a>. Cash has already recorded five attacking returns under Gerrard, and is third for penalty area touches since the new Villa boss took over.</p>
<p>It is also worth highlighting that Villa have been significantly underperforming on their expected goals conceded tally as well. Over the past six matches, they have conceded nine goals despite the fact that only three teams have a better xG conceded than them in this spell.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve picked Alonso well aware of the risk that he may play just the single fixture in Double Gameweek 36 as a result of FA Cup rotation that might hit Chelsea in their game against Leeds.</p>
<p>However, I believe that Alonso can go big even with the assumption that he plays just Wolves this week. Chelsea have had a week&#8217;s rest and Tuchel will be looking for a reaction. With rumours of a dressing room bust up as well, this is actually a really good time to play Wolves. Leicester and Watford at home in Gameweek 37 and 38 are really kind fixtures to follow too.</p>

<p>Saka has the best xGi among all Arsenal players this season, and remains the standout Arsenal attacker to own. In the absence of Lacazette and Pepe, he&#8217;s also on penalties as well.</p>

<p>Man City&#8217;s most nailed attacker with all to play for in the league heading into a Double Gameweek &#8211; I think you simply have to own Kevin De Bruyne if you&#8217;re on a Wildcard this week.</p>
<p>With minimal time left in the season, attacking with your Wildcard is the only way to go and there&#8217;s no better way of doing it than by picking De Bruyne, who will incredibly be a differential heading into the gameweek. Anyone who is chasing rank/a mini-league or is ranked outside the top 100k also simply has to pick him and roll the dice &#8211; you won&#8217;t get a better chasing move this season.</p>

<p>With a Double Gameweek and then favourable fixtures against Burnley and Norwich to follow, I&#8217;d really like to have at least one Spurs attacker on a Wildcard this week. Since Conte has taken over, only City and Liverpool have bettered Spurs for non-penalty xG.</p>
<p>Kulusevski impressed in his cameo against Leicester last week and should be safe to start for the remainder of the season. He offers incredibly good value too: he&#8217;s ranked third for attacking returns since making his debut in Gameweek 26.</p>

<p>Gordon is second only to Richarlison for xG and xGi since Lampard took over at Everton. With so much at stake for Everton, and back-to-back doubles in Gameweek 36 and 37, Gordon should have a role to play in the remainder of the season.</p>

<p>With back to back doubles to come, Watkins is too good to pass up with so little time left in the season. He&#8217;s top among Villa players for expected goal involvement (xGi) over the past six matches and is the clear Villa attacker of choice if picking one at the moment.</p>

<p>Arsenal fans have been in awe of Nketiah&#8217;s recent performances. He had six shots in Gameweek 35 &#8211; which was 2nd for shots among all players in the gameweek. I&#8217;d be very confident of him starting both games in Double Gameweek 36. Lacazette is firmly out of favour having barely played a minute in the past three gameweeks.</p>
<p>The Leeds fixture in particular is the one to target &#8211; Leeds have conceded the highest number of chances down the middle this season which should work in Nketiah&#8217;s favour. The bookmakers have also given Nketiah a very healthy 50% chance of scoring this week.</p>
<p>What I like about Nketiah is that he&#8217;s a low-risk punt because of his price. He&#8217;s a steal at £5.5m as he allows for so many significant upgrades elsewhere in your squad as well. I also low-key think that Nketiah could be a pick for the remainder of the season if he continues to impress in his starts.  Newcastle and Everton in Gameweek 37 and 38 are good fixtures too, which makes Nketiah a solid pick for the run in.</p>
