<h2>Best FPL Wildcard Team for Gameweek 4</h2>
<p>The numbers I have taken for this article are all taken from the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/bigmanbakar/77">Fantasy Football Hub OPTA stats tool</a>.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3><strong>Robert Sánchez (£4.5m)<br />
</strong></h3>
<p>I see a lot of FPL managers selling Sánchez on wildcard but he'd still be in for me. Brighton are fourth for xG conceded from open play this season and are conceding on average, approximately 12 shots per game.</p>
<p>This is exactly what you want from a goalkeeper - a keeper who plays for a team which concedes a large amount of shots but shots of low quality.</p>
<p>His short term fixtures aren't the best but when you're on a wildcard you're likely to buy a keeper for the long term, as it is highly unlikely that you would want to spend a transfer on a keeper at any point. Brighton have a proven defence, so Sánchez is ultimately a safe choice.</p>

<h3><strong>Jason Steele (£4.0m)</strong></h3>
<p>Steele will be good cover for Sánchez should he get injured at any point in the season, so he would be my substitute goalkeeper.</p>

<h3><strong>Trent Alexander Arnold (£7.5m)</strong></h3>
<p><a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/bigmanbakar/77">No player has created more chances than Alexander Arnold this season </a>having created on average five chances a game. He's a safe, set and forget, explosive option for the long term who could deliver in any fixture regardless of difficulty.</p>

<h3><strong>Luke Shaw (£5.5m)</strong></h3>
<p>I still think Shaw is worth keeping on a wildcard. Only Alexander Arnold from among the defenders has created more chances than Shaw this calendar year so his pedigree is proven despite the fact that he is yet to register an assist this season.</p>

<p>There's also the fact that he'll be supplying to a certain Cristiano Ronaldo so he has a quality target to aim at with his crosses.</p>

<h3><strong>Nélson Semedo (£4.9m)</strong></h3>
<p>I really like the idea of having a Wolves defender on a wildcard. Only Man City have a better xG non penalty conceded than them this season. For them to post these underlying numbers is seriously impressive given that they have played against Leicester, Spurs and Man United this season.</p>
<p>Wolves now have an excellent fixture run from GW4-14 where they don’t face any of last season's top five. Semedo would be my pick, as he's playing practically as a right winger according to the average position map in each of his last two fixtures.</p>

<h3><strong>Ben White (£4.4m)</strong></h3>
<p>I have selected White due to Arsenal's fixtures from now on. As you can see on <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/bigmanbakar/74">Fantasy Football Hub's fixture ticker</a>, Arsenal are right up there in terms of difficulty of fixtures.</p>
<p>Gabriel and White are massive upgrades on Holding and Mari and I expect Arsenal to tighten up in the weeks to come. At his price, he's a very capable squad player who can fill in should there be any injuries or rotation.</p>

<h3><strong>Tino Livramento (£4.1m)</strong></h3>
<p>Livramento in my opinion is the best budget defender in the game. Given his impressive performances, he's likely to keep starting and he possesses some assist potential as well.</p>
<p>He created a big chance against Newcastle in the previous Gameweek and was unlucky not to come out of that game with an assist!</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3><strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.5m)</strong></h3>
<p>This one is self-explanatory. He has Leeds, Crystal Palace and Brentford in the next three fixtures but the key for me is that he is the standout captaincy option in Gameweek 5 when Liverpool are at home to Palace - Chelsea are away to Spurs while Man United face a tricky game against West Ham United. <strong><br />

<h3><strong>Diogo Jota (£7.6m)</strong></h3>
<p>Jota's selection is dependent on the extent of Firmino's injury. If Firmino looks like being out for around three weeks or more, then Jota is a great buy. Jota averaged around 4.7 points per start last season, recording a healthy expected involvement of 0.7 per start.</p>
<p>There's a chance of immediate returns in the Leeds fixture as well - no team has conceded more chances down the middle this season so if Jota starts, he could get returns straightaway.</p>
