Eberechi Eze claimed the top scorer award for Palace last season, with 10 goals alongside his four assists
That figure was bettered by Michael Olise who picked up the most assists amongst Crystal Palace players, with 11.

England centre-back Marc Guehi performed admirably at the back, alongside defensive partner Joachim Andersen, who is known for his excellent passing range.
Sam Johnstone impressed in goal towards the end of last season, and will be challenged by Vicente Guiata, but Hodgson has found success with the Englishman so far during his second spell as Eagles manager.

<h3>2022/23 season stats</h3>
Whilst Crystal Palace underwhelmed in the first half of the season, the return of Roy Hodgson saw the Eagles instantly win three games in a row, scoring nine goals in the process.
Their attacking <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a> don&#8217;t look the best over the season however &#8211; in fact, the Eagles were 17th in the league for shots on target.
Defensively, the numbers were much more encouraging &#8211; Palace were the fourth best team in the league for Expected Goals Conceded (xGC) over the season!
Their actually number of goals conceded (49) was the ninth best in the league, but the underlying data suggests that their defence could be stronger than we realise.

Sam Johnstone takes his place between the goalposts after a successful spell under Hodgson, although former first choice Vicente Guaita has been offered a new contract.
Marc Guehi will partner Joachim Andersen at centre-back, in what is arguably Palace&#8217;s strongest position.
Joel Ward will compete with Nathaniel Clyne for the right-back spot, with the latter having just signed a contract extension.
Tyrick Mitchell usually looks a safe bet to start left-back, and has a tendency to get forward more often than Ward or Clyne on the opposite flank.
However, following an injury to Mitchell in pre-season, Palace may require a reshuffle in this department &#8211; perhaps involving the versatile Jeffrey Schlupp.
Schlupp is an athletic midfielder who can also play full-back and winger, while top scorer Eberechi Eze can also play left-wing, but featured largely in the midfield three towards the end of last season, continually made plenty of late runs into the box.
The exact position of these two therefore remains to be seen, but unless Palace make more signings, you can be fairly assured that both will start &#8211; and you would expect Eze to take up plenty of attacking positions, whether playing in midfield or out wide.
Cheick Doucoure is a key man in the deeper areas of midfield, with new signing Jefferson Lerma playing a similar role, having joined on a free transfer from Bournemouth.
Will Hughes has seen somewhat of a resurgence under Roy Hodgson, and may be in for a starting role depending on Palace&#8217;s transfer business.
Michael Olise usually plays a regular supporting role on the right-hand side, providing creativity and assists, as well as notable goal threat &#8211; he is an excellent free kick taker too.
However, Olise is currently an injury doubt for the start of the season, so one of two young Palace stars Jesurun Rak-Sakyi or Naouirou Ahamada may step in to fill the void if no signings are made.
Odsonne Edouard is likely to start up front for Hodgson&#8217;s side, with fellow strikers Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jordan Ayew both potentially heading for the exit door.

<h2>Crystal Palace stats for Sky and Telegraph</h2>
Sky Sports Fantasy Football awards bonus points for passing, tackles, shots and saves. Players are awarded two or three extra points for 60/70 passes, four/five tackles, two/three shots on target and three/five saves.
In Sky, centre-backs and defensive midfielders are the ones who tend to pick up passing bonus most often. Tackles tend to come from full-backs and defensive midfielders.
Tackles are also a factor in Telegraph Fantasy Football for midfielders, who are awarded a point for every two tackles. Goalkeepers get one extra point for every save made.
