Hi all, as some of you have seen, we’ve upgraded the ticker. It’s currently in beta version and would love some feedback on what you like/dislike?
Absolutely love this Ste. Been using it most of today and can see myself using it every gameweek. Shout out to
Carl as its his numbers that sit behind it (based on spread betting and his own predictive modelling).
Top quality stuff. Cheers!
Oh wow. This is SO useful! Thanks guys :)
That’s great, thanks ??
The sound on the intro video does not work. I can guess what the numbers and colors mean but could someone clarify please?
Welcome to the site
Sundance_Rovers. There is no sound on the demo video. Black means tough fixtures, light blue means easy ?
and therefore for attack, high numbers are good? For defence high numbers are bad?
Correct
Excellent. Another tool I’ll be using every week. Great job (again!)
Love the Season Ticker, great work
Good addition here guys :)
The ‘eyetest’ would suggest that Liverpool should be above Southampton in both attack and defence! Guess the numbers tell a different story?
This is excellent
shotsontarget. Very strong ticker and can see myself using it a lot.
Personally, I’m not that keen on the colour scheme though… At the moment, Its effectively a blue scale, which makes it harder to pick out easier/ harder fixtures. Would it be possible to have Blue for easy and another colour (maybe Red?) for hard?
Agree completely with this. Could be a great tool but finding it hard to easily visualise the better runs.
Hi guys, when will the new fixture ticker be available?
Very soon! Certainly within a week
I might be being dumb but is there no way to sort the list of clubs best to worst?
Hey
Shikaka85. If you click on “GW1-6” it will sort by difficulty. We’re working on making this easier/ more obvious, so thanks for highlighting it
Love the site. Can you make it possible to sort by column at all. At the moment I have Southampton at the top of the list but has a score of 1.23, so assuming that isn’t the top team. Also explaining what the second column means would help, the heading is just Game Weeks and not what the score means.
Hey
hellers77, see my comment above, you can do this by clicking ‘GW1-6’. We’ll have an updated version in the coming weeks, so this is more obvious
Hi Ste, Historically i create my own FDRs. What key statistics do you take into consideration when producing them?
Hi
FPL_Locolord, our fdr is created using spread betting odds
ok, i was looking forward to using this but don’t agree with the predictions so Ill continue using my own. Stats area is great though
Jossy’s planner also has different FDR’s if you prefer to use a sheet
I like the set up and the way you can navigate around I just feel the model you guys use to determine the FDR (if its spread betting) is a lot different to my own. I was hoping to see similar results but the spectrum between the two is big. What stats does Jossy’s planner use?
Multiple ones on his sheet I believe. I’ve personally found spread betting to be by far the best predictor of fixture difficulty. Good luck!
any rotation tools planed in the fixture ticker?
Not for the ticker in the immediate future. I’d suggest Ben Crellin or Jossy’s planners for those
Any way to reorder teams from best to last?
Just tap on the label which says “GW1-6”
where is it?
I’m still finding my way around.
Small suggestion. Perhaps a little guide notes that a higher number is better for attack and a lower number better for defense ( at least that is how I see this ticker working ). It didn’t take much effort to figure it out but tips and hints are always nice. Also, if we could sort the calculated number column to quickly see the highest or lowest numbers in order, that would make seeing who has the better fixtures easier. Thanks for the great tool!
Hello and congratulations for the great job with the fixture ticker! Let me ask you these questions that are of my interest:
1. What is the difference between this fixture planner and Jossy’s FPL planer (in the part of fixture ticker) as they provide some differences – for example how good (or not so) are fixtures of Bournemouth?
2. (not directed related with this planner) Is there anywhere existing Championship FPL 19/20 because we need to chase prospect stars for next season and if so – is there again any fixture ticker for Championship?
Thanks.
Hey
1. Ours are based on spread betting odds used in Carl’s Algorithm. Jossy has a few different ones I believe, best to ask him on that front
2. We don’t cover championship at all I’m afraid
Thanks, Will, you’ve done great job!
Hi,can i ask how you change the order the teams appear on the fixture tracker ? No matter what gameweeks i put in,attack or defence,Southampton are always at the top ?
See the above comments my friend – hit Gameweek 1-6 button. Something we are looking alter in the near future
Ok sorted.Thanks.
I think overall is missing, combining both attack and defense
Dear Will, Good day, I notice that Brighton has the best attacking points going into GameWeek 2, is it because Brighton scored so many goals and WestHam conceded so many vs ManCity in GW1? or is it using other variables? Followed by Norwich then Aston Villa.
I love this ticker – great job
Not sure what to think of this fixture ticker.
I’m looking at GW7 and see that Man C v Everton has Black ratings for BOTH teams, for BOTH attack and defence. Black defence for a team would indicate that it’s a tough match to defend against, yet the opposing team has Black attack indicating that their unlikely to score, this can’t be possible.
Everton only play one team at Goodison from GW7 until the end of the season, where the opposition has a black rating, that team is Man C indicating that Man C is the team the most UNLIKELIEST to score at Goodison for the rest of the season.
I love the idea of this ticker, but can’t see the difficulty predictions being realistic.
HI Will,
it would be good if there were a couple of additional options on the ticker.
1. a color toggle from blue to red green scale.
2. a tick box to look at two or 3 team combinations only, so they stack above each other.
3. an end tick box to show best rotation team.
Possible to lock in the predicted fixture ticker ratings and be able to view them backward looking as well? I’m trying to not only look at past 5 game stats to compare players/teams, but also want to add fixture difficulty consideration.
