<p>How did our analysis fare last week?</p>
<p>We were on the money regarding where Nottingham Forest are weak and how <strong>Ollie Watkins (£8.9m)</strong> could benefit.</p>
<p>We were correct that <strong>Erling Haaland (£14.4m)</strong> and <strong>Phil Foden (£8.1m)</strong> would benefit from where Bournemouth concede the most chances - but sadly the former could not convert.</p>
<p>We highlighted what a good match-up <strong>Bukayo Saka (£9.2m)</strong> had and that was enough to sway our captaincy decision. Hopefully you followed suit and benefited.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Gameweek 27: Clean sheet and goalscoring odds</strong></h2>
<p>Arsenal and Manchester City are the most likely to score two or more goals, according to the odds.</p>
<p>They're also the most likely to keep a clean sheet ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, whose odds may come as a surprise given their leakiness at the back.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Gameweek 27 fixtures analysed</strong></h2>
<h3>Brentford v Chelsea</h3>
<p>Both teams aren’t in a great moment, as Chelsea’s young side will be deflated after losing in extra time to Liverpool and Brentford were destroyed by a resurgent West Ham on Monday night.</p>
<p>Brentford beat Chelsea 0-2 in the reverse fixture. They’ve won three and drawn one in the last four league games, which suggests they have the measure of Chelsea.</p>
<p>Chelsea played in the cup final on Sunday, then they have a two-day recovery period before a tricky FA Cup game against in-form Leeds, which leaves them two days to recover for Brentford.</p>
<p>The Bees should therefore have the advantage, although Chelsea may rotate in the cup.</p>
<p><strong>Additional factors to consider</strong></p>
<p>Neither side has particularly impressive recent xG stats. Chelsea’s away xG stats are the fourth best in the league though.</p>
<p>Chelsea’s recent xGC is average, whereas Brentford’s are poor. Only Luton have conceded more big chances. Their home xGC stats are fifth worst in the league and that’s consistent with their terrible home record, where they tend to concede more.</p>
<p>Brentford allow the most shots from their left but have only conceded one penalty this season.</p>
<p>Reviewing the above, it seems to be primed for <strong>Cole Palmer (£5.7m)</strong>. Positioned on the right, he can benefit from the zonal weakness and he picks up his fair share of big chances. Furthermore, he leads the team for expected and actual goal involvement.</p>
<p>Chelsea have conceded five penalties this season, so there’s always a glimmer of hope for <strong>Ivan Toney (£8.2m)</strong>.</p>
