<h2>Double Gameweek 27 Review</h2>
<p>A second red arrow in a row for me, as the double Gameweek fell a little flat with only one of my three double Gameweek players playing both games. I finished with a reasonable <strong>67 points</strong> and I think I was actually on for a small green arrow until Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) decided to turn up with his first brace of the season. In the end, I fell slightly from 204k to <strong>220k</strong> so not the end of the world.</p>

<p>Although I am effectively 'dead-ending' my team into the 'blank week' Gameweek 29, I have also included the week after, Gameweek 30, in here as some of the key teams playing in Gameweek 29 also have a decent fixture the week after - e.g. Aston Villa, Leeds United and Tottenham. Therefore I may well elect to delay my wildcard for that extra week (at least).</p>
<p>This is how I'm currently set up, going into Gameweek 28:</p>

<p>My team looks OK on paper, with a reasonable set of fixtures and no immediate problems to be dealt with, as far as I'm aware! Hopefully my two City defenders might start having missed out against Southampton, but who knows with Pep.</p>

<h3>Most Wanted List</h3>
<p>This is where I identify the players who I am currently most considering bringing into my team as well as highlighting who, if anyone, may be able to make way for them. This helps me to formulate a rough mental shortlist of potential moves. I update this list each week.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Goalkeepers</strong></span></p>
<p><b>None</b></p>
<p><em>Out-list:</em> <strong>Alex McCarthy (£4.5m)</strong> - Southampton have been poor lately and he's now being rotated with Fraser Forster, not ideal</p>
<p><em>Removed</em>: <strong>Emi Martinez (£5.4m) - </strong>finally now in my team</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Defenders</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Ruben Dias (£6.1m)</strong><em><strong> - </strong></em>the safest of the Manchester City defenders, with some goal threat as well, but would mean a "sideways move" of sorts</p>
<p><strong>Lewis Dunk (£4.9m) - </strong>the defensive stalwart of Graham Potter's xG Champions - nailed on, a decent amount of goal threat and a fixture in Gameweek 29...you know times are hard when it comes to this</p>
<p><em>Out-list:</em> <strong>Ben Johnson (£3.9m)</strong> - rarely plays; <strong>João Cancelo (£6.2m)</strong> and <strong>John Stones (£5.3m)</strong> - their rotation is starting to become tiresome</p>
<p><em>Removed</em>: <strong>Lucas Digne (£6.2m) - </strong>it looks like the possible Everton / Aston Villa double gameweek ship has sailed for now and no fixture in Gameweek 29.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Midfielders</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Heung-Min Son (£9.6m)</strong> - still on my radar, especially with a game in gameweek 29</p>
<p><em><strong>New</strong></em>: <strong>Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m)</strong> - I think a fit and firing De Bruyne <em>has</em> to be on my list really</p>
<p><em><strong>New:</strong></em> <strong>Gareth Bale (£9.4m) </strong>- didn't go down well when I mentioned him recently - maybe 4 goals and an assist in the last three gameweeks might have changed some minds?</p>
<p><em>Out-list: </em><b>Tomas Soucek (£5.3m) - </b>some tricky fixtures coming up (although he does have a game in Gameweek 29)</p>
<p><em>Removed</em>: <strong>Jack Grealish (£7.5m)</strong> - as I am now tripled up on Aston Villa (and he's still injured)</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Forwards</strong></span></p>
<p><b>Michail Antonio (£6.6m) - </b>amongst the goals and a fixture in Gameweek 29</p>
<p><em>Out-list: </em><b>Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m) - </b>similar to Lucas Digne (above)</p>
<p><em>Removed</em>: <strong>none</strong></p>

<h3>Chip Strategy Recap</h3>
<p>To recap, I (still) have the following chips remaining: second <strong>Wildcard</strong>, <strong>Bench Boost</strong> and <strong>Triple Captain</strong>. My Free Hit Chip I used in Gameweek 18.</p>
<p>My current plan is to navigate my way through to at least Gameweek 29 via free transfers. After that, I will use my Wildcard soon after - possibly pre-Gameweek 31 but I'm remaining flexible for now.</p>
<p>My Triple Captain, I will use whenever feels right - form, fixture/s and quality - this is an "easy" chip to use anyway.</p>
<p>My Bench Boost I will most likely use following my second wildcard</p>
