Every week the brilliant Holly Shand brings us her insight into the blend of FPL form vs FPL fixtures to help us decide on the best transfers for the coming Gameweek.
With just one week to go, form is the biggest indicator going into the last gameweek of the season.
The FPL fixtures chart uses the Hub's fixture ticker, focusing on attack for the remaining Gameweek. The form charts also have attack in mind, studying the number of goals scored per game, while reflecting the format of the site ticker.
FPL Fixtures Chart
It's Manchester City in control of the Gameweek 38 FPL Fixtures chart once again, with West Ham the only team in touching distance. Arsenal and Everton are tied for third place.
West Ham's Michail Antonio has been in fine form since the restart, with a huge five goals in his last four games. The underlying statistics suggest that those tallies are sustainable. However, West Ham are now safe, with opponents Aston Villa having it all to play for: it won't be an easy game for the Hammers.
When considering Arsenal assets, it's difficult to look beyond Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He's still in contention in the Golden Boot race and scored an impressive brace in the FA Cup last weekend. However, Watford are also in the race for survival.
Everton have been very unpredictable of late, but Richarlison remains in the conversation. He has three goals since the restart, including two goals in his last four games. Bournemouth are perhaps the unlikeliest side to escape relegation, although stranger things have happened.
FPL Form Chart
Again it's Manchester City we see dominating here, with Liverpool a close second. West Ham and Spurs are also in the mix. Liverpool's form has been patchy at best, but nobody can deny the excellent season Trent Alexander-Arnold has had from an offensive perspective. Mo Salah will provide a big threat against a threadbare Newcastle United defence.
Spurs following closely behind. Spurs have scored eight goals in their last three games, with Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane being the goalscorers on six occasions. Harry Kane is perhaps easier to accommodate right now with our midfields heavily stacked. He also has the higher points ceiling, although both are good options.
