<h2>Gameweek 5 Review &#8211; FPL Strategy</h2>
<p>A huge green arrow this week! <strong>74 points</strong> takes us from 101k to 33k! A 15-pointer from <strong>Ismaila Sarr (£6.1m) </strong>was a particular highlight, after we&#8217;d focussed on his potential against a weak <strong>Norwich</strong> side.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s still worth noting that <strong>rank isn&#8217;t too important after just five weeks</strong>. We&#8217;re only 9 points off of the top 10k and only 12 points ahead of 100k, and there are 33 weeks to go. Fluctuations will be wild for a little while longer.</p>

<p>We&#8217;re now five weeks into the season and so the data sample is still small, but it&#8217;s interesting to see the developments.</p>

<p>As we can see, <strong>Wolves have given up the most FPL Points to opposition Goalkeepers so far</strong>. <strong>Arsenal</strong>, <strong>Norwich</strong>, <strong>West Ham</strong> and <strong>Burnley</strong> make up the remaining five.</p>
<p><strong>Alisson (£6m) </strong>now sits on top of the Goalkeeper scoring charts. <strong>Robert Sanchez (£4.6m) </strong>appears to have some decent upcoming fixtures before <strong>Man City</strong>, so hopefully he can start delivering for his managers.</p>

<p>No surprises in the Points Scored table, with <strong>Chelsea</strong>, <strong>Liverpool</strong> and <strong>Manchester</strong> <strong>City</strong> topping the scoring already. <strong>Brentford </strong>are doing very well early doors but they now have huge tests facing them in the next few weeks. That will certainly be worth monitoring.</p>
<p><strong>Wolves have conceded the most FPL Points to opposition defensive units</strong>. We see <strong>Arsenal</strong>, <b>Norwich, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur </b>making up the bottom five.</p>
<p><strong>Brighton</strong> have a reasonable run from <strong>Gameweek 6-8</strong>, with <strong>Chelsea&#8217;s</strong> excellent fixture swing potentially kicking off from <strong>Gameweek 7.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Liverpool</strong>, <strong>Manchester United and Manchester City</strong> midfielders have got off to a strong start here. <strong>Everton</strong> and <strong>West</strong> <strong>Ham</strong> make up the top five in terms of Points Scored.</p>
<p>These two sides largely owe this to unexpected assets doing well, such as <strong>Demarai Gray (£5.7m) and Abdoulaye Doucoure (£5.5m) </strong>at Everton. With some injuries at Everton, I&#8217;m not sure if this will continue in the short term.</p>
<p>A different example would be <strong>Said Benrahma (£6.5m), </strong>who was projected to do well off the back of a strong pre-season. The Algerian definitely continued that for the first two fixtures and then disappointed in Gameweeks 3 and 4, before hitting a <strong>10-pointer against Manchester United</strong> in Gameweek 5. This week he faces <strong>Leeds</strong>, who we mention below.</p>
<p><strong>Leeds</strong> <strong>have conceded the most FPL Points to opposition Midfield Units so far</strong>. <strong>Arsenal</strong>, <strong>Norwich</strong>, <strong>Burnley</strong> and <strong>Newcastle</strong> make up the list of five teams who have conceded the most points to this position.</p>
<p>After his 15-point haul against <strong>Norwich</strong>, I&#8217;d continue to back <strong>Ismaila Sarr (£6m) </strong>against <strong>Newcastle and Leeds</strong>. I&#8217;d also consider a one-week punt on <strong>Andros Townsend (£5.4m) </strong>against that Norwich side. As mentioned last week, <strong>Norwich</strong> <strong>have conceded at least one return to the player playing on that right flank position in every gameweek so far</strong>.</p>

<h2>Forwards</h2>

<p><strong>Newcastle</strong> now top the Points Scored charts here. That&#8217;s a result of <strong>Allan Saint-Maximin&#8217;s (£6.7m)</strong> solid start to the season. <strong>Two goals and two assists</strong> mean he is the fourth highest scoring forward in the league on 27 points.</p>
<p><strong>Michail Antonio (£7.9m) </strong>has scored <strong>39 points</strong> and now faces a Leeds side just outside the top five teams giving up the most FPL Points to opposition forwards.</p>
<p>You have to wonder how long it will be before <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-ronaldo-and-lukaku-both-neither-or-just-one/"><strong>Romelu Lukaku (£11.6m)</strong></a> and <strong>Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.5m) </strong>start propelling <strong>Chelsea</strong> and <strong>Manchester</strong> <strong>United</strong> into the top five here, with Ronaldo already on <strong>19 points</strong> after two games.</p>
<p>In terms of FPL Points conceded, <strong>Norwich have conceded the most FPL Points to opposition forwards</strong> so far. <b>Newcastle</b>, <strong>Leicester,</strong> <strong>Southampton</strong> and <strong>Aston Villa</strong> make up the five teams conceding the most.</p>
<p>Given the fact that we have injuries to <strong>Dominic </strong><strong>Calvert-Lewin (£8.1m)</strong>, <strong>Callum Wilson (£7.4m)</strong>, and <strong>Patrick Bamford (£7.9m)</strong>, budget options are limited here. <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/the-best-bamford-replacements-fpl-gameweek-6-tips/">Bamford is in The Metric Team and will need to be replaced this week</a>.</p>

<p><strong>Raul Jimenez (£7.4m) </strong>hasn&#8217;t really got off the ground yet. However, with fixtures against<strong> three of the five teams giving up the most FPL Points to opposition Forwards</strong> coming up, his time could be now.</p>
<p>We may even start to see new signing <strong>Hee-Chan Hwang (£5.5m) </strong>get regular minutes and if that&#8217;s the case, he could be a <strong>decent budget enabler</strong>.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s interesting to see <strong>Brentford</strong> in the <strong>bottom five teams for FPL Points conceded to Forwards</strong>. Only <strong>Manchester City have registered a better xGC</strong> than them.</p>
<p>However, their fixtures are about to turn, so they&#8217;re one to keep an eye on to evaluate how they perform against the better teams.</p>

<h2>Gameweek 6 Preview &#8211; FPL Strategy</h2>
<p>So we have <strong>one Free Transfer</strong> and<strong> £0.9m in the bank</strong>. With Bamford injured we have yet another issue upfront. This is where we are prior to any transfers being made:</p>

<p><strong>Adam Masina (£4.5m) </strong>didn&#8217;t play again last week, meaning he may have lost his place. <strong>Billy Gilmour (£4.5m) </strong>is probably my only trustworthy bench option right now, and even he has been left out on occasion.</p>
<p>My plan is to <strong>Wildcard </strong>in the International Break ahead of <strong>Gameweek 8</strong>, so I need a decent striker to hopefully get me through to that.</p>

<h2>Captaincy, Transfers and Team Reveal &#8211; FPL Gameweek 6 Strategy</h2>
<p>The captaincy goes to <strong>Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.7m) </strong>this week. He&#8217;s off to a great start this season and playing at Old Trafford he&#8217;ll want to put on a show as usual.</p>
<p>My transfer will be to ship <strong>Patrick Bamford (£7.9m) </strong>out, but his replacement I am still unsure of. With a <strong>Wildcard </strong>on the horizon I don&#8217;t want to take a hit really.</p>
