            <p><i><strong>FPL Gameweek 8 review and tips</strong> from BigManBakar. Each week he brings us a statistical rundown on all the numbers you need to know after each Gameweek.</i></p>

<h2>Watford v Liverpool <strong>- FPL Gameweek 8 Review</strong></h2>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Gameweek kicked off with <strong>Liverpool</strong> spoiling <strong>Claudio Ranieri's</strong> welcome party at Vicarage Road.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Liverpool were in full flow as they managed to score five past a struggling Watford team and looked in complete control throughout.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Roberto Firmino (</strong><strong>£8.8m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Brazilian announced his comeback from injury with a bang. Firmino managed to bag a hat-trick and an assist on his way to a 20 point haul.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">He accumulated three big chances while perfectly complimenting his Liverpool team-mates. His newly found form could spell trouble for <strong>Diogo Jota (£7.5m)</strong> going forward.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Mohamed Salah (</strong><strong>£12.8m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Salah has made me run out of words. The Egyptian added yet another goal and an assist to his name at the weekend. He is showing an unreal level of consistency.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The 29-year-old did not have any big chance in the game but courtesy of his brilliant footwork, he was able to score a sublime goal by himself.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">He is top in the league for shots in the box, xG, expected goal involvement (xGi) and big chances created this season .</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Even by his high  standards, he is operating at a level which is superior to anything from what we have witnessed from him in the past.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Sadio Mane (</strong><strong>£11.9m</strong><strong>)</strong> had two big chances to score and continues to post impressive numbers. He's top for big chances among all players in the league and is only behind Salah and Antonio when it comes to xG.</p>

<h2>Aston Villa v Wolves <strong>- FPL Gameweek 8 Review</strong></h2>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The game witnessed an epic finale.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Danny Ings (</strong><strong>£7.8m</strong><strong>)</strong> <strong>and Matthew Cash (</strong><strong>£5.1m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">They were the standout performers statistically for the home side. Both players topped the charts for big chances and shots in the box respectively in this fixture.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Cash in particular has caught my eye. Ever since Villa's switch to three at the back in <strong>Gameweek 4</strong>, he has been playing in an advanced role as a right wing back.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">He's one worth keeping an eye on once Villa head into an easier run of fixtures.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Hwang Hee Chan (</strong><strong>£5.6m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The South Korean did not have the best of games as he registered just the one shot in the box with a xG of 0.04.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">However, it's hard to read into one fixture particularly given the absence of <strong>Raul Jiménez</strong>.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Mexican's style of play, dropping deep and creating chances, will be critical to Hwang's prospects going forward.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Nelson Semedo (</strong><strong>£4.9m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">He was playing as the advanced wing back yet again but Wolves' defensive numbers have slumped somewhat in recent times.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">I would say it’s time to upgrade him to a premium defender especially given the upcoming fixtures for <strong>Chelsea</strong> and <strong>Man</strong> <strong>City</strong>.</p>

<h2>Leicester v Man United - FPL Gameweek 8 Review</h2>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Manchester United's wretched run continued.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Jamie Vardy (</strong><strong>£10.6m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Scored for the fourth game running, which means that he has blanked just twice in eight games so far this season.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">He has gone under the radar as he is priced awkwardly but he has been scoring points consistently.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">His finishing has been incredible this season, and according to the xG model he has outperformed his xG by almost three goals, which is the highest for overperformance in xG among all players in the league.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Kelechi Iheanacho (</strong><strong>£7.0m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Started yet again and recorded two shots from inside the box. He is one worth keeping an eye on, particularly if <strong>Brendan Rodgers</strong> sticks to the two forward system which is looking likely given the recent result.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Cristiano Ronaldo (</strong><strong>£12.5m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Had another disappointing game in what might turn out to be the last straw for Fantasy managers.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Ronaldo had two shots from inside the box with a xG of 0.2 and was not provided with enough service. It's time to look elsewhere now with the run of fixtures that Man United have coming up.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Mason Greenwood (</strong><strong>£7.6m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Added another goal to his tally with a great strike from outside the box.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">He is priced very fairly which means one can keep him even with the tough run of fixtures that Man United have coming up.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">However, it must be worth noting that he has been significantly outperforming his xG too - no midfielder has overperformed more according to the xG model this season.</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Bruno Fernandes (</strong><strong>£11.8m</strong><strong>)</strong></h4>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Created eight chances, which were the highest among all players in the Gameweek.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">However, none of these were quality chances which is why Fernandes isn't ranked even in the top ten players for expected assists this Gameweek.</p>
