<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Gameweek 7 was a pretty average one for me, one point below the average to be precise. 52 points brings my total to 424 for the season and my rank dropped from 356k to 425k. I’m trying to ignore my overall rank as much as possible this season but it’s proving difficult to do so! </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All my attackers delivered apart from my captain of course which was frustrating. I feel very lucky to have those </span><strong>Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m)</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and </span><strong>Ollie Watkins (£6.0m)</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> points as they came very late in the day. </span><strong>Daniel Podence (£5.5m)</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">gave me a parting gift before being swiftly removed from my squad. I haven't got time for players who get subbed off early every week. Hopefully </span><strong>James Rodriguez (£7.9m)</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">makes a return and gets a return against United! I kept him because Everton have a nice little run after Gameweek 8. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">My defence let me down big time. I’ve finally had enough of the Liverpool double-up in defence, there’s no need to be stubborn about it. </span><strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.4m)</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">is gone. It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later. I’m still happy to hold on to </span><strong>Andrew Robertson (£7.1m)</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">, he passes the eye test every week and his underlying numbers are excellent. I’m also content to keep my trio of £4.5m defenders that I’ve had from Gameweek 1. Two of them will be on the bench each week now that I’ve switched to a 3-4-3 setup. </span></p>
<p><strong>Aaron Ramsdale (£4.9m)</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">is like a bad rash that won’t go away. Every week he survives because I want to focus my transfers elsewhere. Now that most of the tricky fixtures are out of the way, he’ll probably survive until I wildcard (most likely Gameweek 16). </span></p>
