<h2>2022/23 season review</h2>
<p>Last season was a reasonable one overall, given I ended up at a 59k overall rank.</p>
<p>However, it was really a season of three parts:</p>
<p>I had a really strong start, rising up to 50k after 10 gameweeks and ready to kick on.</p>
<p>However, that didn't quite pan out and I endured an awful next 11 gameweeks, dropping to 697k by Gameweek 25.</p>
<p>From there, the recovery started and it was mainly green arrows, eventually finishing strongly at 59k</p>
<p>But, enough about last season - it's time to start planning for 2023/24!</p>
<h2><b>Fixtures: FPL Gameweek 1 team reveal</b></h2>
<p>Its always debatable how far to look ahead when planning our Gameweek 1 squads.</p>
<p>Personally I focus fairly short-term at this stage, looking at the first six gameweeks, with an even greater focus on the first few fixtures.</p>
<p>In reality, we get so much information in the first few weeks that it seems pointless to look much further and I may even <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-wildcard-and-when-to-use-it">Wildcard</a> early on if the opportunity arises.</p>
