<p>Double Gameweek 35 will see many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers playing their Wildcard &#8211; but which players without a remaining double could still be handy in the run-in?</p>
<p>Six teams have at least one double gameweek remaining this season, however some of them have put in some underwhelming performances of late.</p>
<p>FPL managers might be wary of packing their teams with 15 doublers, even with a Bench Boost in Gameweek 37 planned for many wildcarders.</p>
<p>We take a look at some options from elsewhere which could do a job for those with this combination of chips remaining.</p>

<h2>FPL fixtures: Doublers and the best of the rest in Gameweek 37</h2>
<p>Chelsea and Spurs have two doubles &#8211; in Gameweek 35 and 37.</p>
<p>Manchester United, Manchester City, Brighton and Newcastle also play twice in Gameweek 37.</p>

<h2>FPL single gameweek options for a Wildcard and Bench Boost</h2>
<p>Here are some of the players those with a Wildcard and Bench Boost could consider:</p>
<h3>Jarrad Branthwaite (£4.3m) and Jordan Pickford (£4.7m)</h3>
<p>Everton have the second best defensive record in the league, with their 11 clean sheets only bettered by Arsenal&#8217;s 15.</p>
<p>The Toffees recorded 2-0 wins over Nottingham Forest and Liverpool in Double Gameweek 34, although Forest were incensed not to be awarded three penalties.</p>
<p>Sean Dyche&#8217;s men have been undoubtedly solid at the back however, conceding the fourth fewest goals in the league.</p>
<p>And with Sheffield United at home in Double Gameweek 37, Branthwaite<strong> </strong>could offer an alternative to other budget defensive doublers.</p>
<p>The Blades have the worst away expected goals (xG) record in the league, averaging fewer than one goal a game (0.73).</p>
<p>Centre-back Branthwaite scored his third goal of the season on Wednesday against Liverpool.</p>
<p>He comes in at £0.3m cheaper than <strong>James Tarkowski (£4.6m)</strong>, who has one goal but a higher expected goals (xG) than the 21-year-old.</p>
<p>Branthwaite is the tenth highest scoring defender in the game, on 106 points.</p>
<p>Pickford has more points than any other goalkeeper (131) and is 10 ahead of Arsenal&#8217;s <strong>David Raya (£5.2m)</strong>.</p>
<p>He has earned 17 bonus points, eight more than double gameweek shot-stoppers <strong>Guglielmo Vicario (£5.3m) </strong>and <strong>Andre Onana (£5.0m)</strong>.</p>

<h3>Dominic Solanke (£7.3m)</h3>
<p>Solanke has scored 18 league goals, a tally beaten by only three players.</p>
<p>He has averaged 4.85 points per appearance, the eighth best total among Premier League regulars.</p>
<p>Bournemouth have the next best single gameweek fixture after Everton in Double Gameweek 37, when Brentford travel to the south coast.</p>
<p><strong>Erling Haaland (£14.2m) </strong>is the only player with a better xG than the Cherries&#8217; talisman, whose xG of 18.45 is in line with his actual returns.</p>
<p>Solanke, who is on penalties, scored against Brentford in the reverse fixture back in September.</p>

<h3>Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.8m)</h3>
<p>Ait-Nouri is fit again. After missing Gameweek 33, he played 105 minutes in Double Gameweek 34, starting against Bournemouth.</p>
<p>He blends the opportunity for a clean sheet with attacking potential, which could make him a good fit for a Bench Boost.</p>
<p>Wolves play Crystal Palace in Gameweek 37 &#8211; and despite the Eagles being in fantastic form, Wolves will have home advantage.</p>
<p>Ait-Nouri has at times been used further forward than a regular full-back and has two goals and two assists in his last eight games. No defender has a better xG (1.38) in this time.</p>
<p>Wolves are without a win since Gameweek 28, however they have struggled with injuries and most of Ait-Nouri&#8217;s returns have come amid this run.</p>
<p>They play Luton at home in Gameweek 35, another favourable fixture, and Ait-Nouri could be benched for tougher away tests in Gameweek 36 and 38.</p>

<h3>Mohamed Salah (£13.6m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.4m)</h3>
<p>Liverpool&#8217;s title race may be fizzling out but Salah remains one of the best players in the game.</p>
<p>In the same respect, Alexander-Arnold is the pick of the defenders with attacking threat, particularly given <strong>Kieran Trippier (£6.6m) </strong>is not fit.</p>
<p>The Reds have the worst-rated fixture in Double Gameweek 37, according to the Hub ticker. They play Aston Villa away, who may still be battling for a Champions League spot.</p>
<p>But for those looking for high-upside picks, either of these picks could easily outscore their double gameweek counterparts.</p>

<h3>Ollie Watkins (£8.9m)</h3>
<p>Watkins is the top FPL points scorer in the game, with 19 goals and 17 assists leading to a total of 217.</p>
<p>Those 36 goal involvements have helped him to earn 29 bonus points, the joint-best total.</p>
<p>Villa play Chelsea (H), Brighton (A), Liverpool (H) and Crystal Palace (A) in the run-in. He scored 23 points in the reverse fixture against Brighton, scoring three and assisting two.</p>
<p>Watkins is the fourth best forward for predicted points over the next four gameweeks, putting him in the mix for a space in the front three &#8211; despite having no double gameweek.</p>

<h3>Arsenal players</h3>
<p>The Gunners have by far been the best defensive team in the league.</p>
<p>They play Manchester United away in Double Gameweek 37 but it would not be a surprise to see them keep another clean sheet then, or indeed in any of their remaining games.</p>
<p>That brings <strong>Gabriel (£5.4m)</strong>, <strong>William Saliba (£5.9m) </strong>and <strong>Ben White (£6.0m)</strong> into the mix, all of which can also contribute a goal or assist.</p>
<p>White tops the FPL points standings for defenders (167), with Saliba second (146) and Gabriel third (133).</p>
<p><strong>Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) </strong>leads the way for goal involvements (25) among Arsenal players but <strong>Martin Odegaard (£8.6m) </strong>and <strong>Kai Havertz (£7.4m) </strong>have also been in good form, with 20 and 17 points respectively in Double Gameweek 34.</p>
<p>Competition is particularly strong in midfield at present, however this is less so in defence, so don&#8217;t be surprised to see one or two of the Arsenal backline in rival mini-league Wildcard drafts.</p>
