FPL player price reveals 2024/25: All the releases as they happened
Oli Poole | Tue 16 Jul 2024The waiting is almost over – Fantasy Premier League (FPL) 2024/25 will soon be launched after a series of player price reveals.
FPL is announcing how much some of the game’s best players will cost fantasy managers this season.
Twenty prices were revealed on Thursday (July 11), with more following on Friday and over the weekend.

When will FPL 2024/25 launch?
FPL has been quite helpful in setting out the timeline for the game’s launch this year, without precisely giving us the date.
The game is generally launched soon after they have completed their price reveals.
Prices are expected until Tuesday, with Premier League account holders who have opted into fantasy emails receiving a summary of all the reveals from 16:00 the same day.
It would be unusual for this to be sent to fantasy managers once the game is launched, given all prices would then be available.
So a launch late Tuesday or on Wednesday seems the most likely time.
By then, England fans will either be doubly celebrating after a Euro 2024 victory – or be in desperate need of a footballing pick-me-up.
FPL player price reveals 2024/25: Tuesday coverage
Final four price reveals
The final four price reveals came through via email, although they were not exactly the most anticipated quartet:
- Wes Burns – MID – £5.0m
- Andreas Pereira – MID – £5.5m
- Emiliano Buendia – MID – £5.5m
- Marcos Senesi – MID – £5.0m
15:00: Game changes revealed!
A mystery chip and the ability to save more free transfers are among the changes to FPL next season. Check out our article for full details!
13:30: Another app reveal
Ben White is the next out – and he’ll cost £6.5m this season. Remember his bumper haul in Gameweek 34 last season? He scored two in two games and netted a massive 26 points.
Ben White’s stats
13:09: Long list of prices confirmed
If you’ve kept an eagle eye on all the various methods of Premier League communications, apparently you’ll have seen all of the following.
Son Heung-min is the most interesting of this batch:
- Son Heung-min – MID – £10.0m
- Bryan Mbeumo – MID – £7.0m
- Kaoru Mitoma – MID – £6.5m
- Hwang Hee-chan – MID – £6.5m
- Dominic Calvert-Lewin -FOR – £6.0m
- Taiwo Awoniyi – FOR – £6.0m
- Kobbie Mainoo – MID – £5.5m
- Daniel Munoz – DEF – £5.0m
- Kurt Zouma – DEF – £4.5m
- Mads Hermansen – GK – £4.5m
- Alex McCarthy – GK – £4.5m
13:00: Another price released
Bryan Mbeumo will be a £7.0m midfielder this season. Much of the interest in him, like last season, will come down to whether Toney is still around at Brentford.
11:30: Latest price confirmed
Morning all! It’s fair to say the pace of price releases has slowed down somewhat, with very little coming out this morning.
That being said, Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m) was the latest reveal via the FPL app a little while ago, while Hwang Hee-chan (£6.5m) dropped just a minute ago.

17:00: End of today’s FPL price reveals
That’s it for today, the Premier League confirms! See you tomorrow for what could be the long-awaited game launch!
Thanks for following our coverage.
16:20: What next?
As a reminder, we’re not expecting FPL to launch until tomorrow at the earliest, given their plans for some reveals on Tuesday.
But will we get anything else in the meantime? Maybe a teasing of the ‘exciting changes’ to the game they have planned?
There’s been no word from FPL as yet…
16:00: City the final set of team price reveals
Some interesting ones below!
- Phil Foden – MID – £9.5m
- Kevin De Bruyne – MID – £9.5m
- Bernardo Silva – MID – £6.5m
- Julian Alvarez – FOR – £7.0m
- Josko Gvardiol – DEF – £6.0m
Foden comes in at £0.5m below Saka and £1.0m cheaper than Palmer. And at the same price as De Bruyne, there’s a potential decision to be made between the two. Both are £5.5m cheaper than Haaland, which could make a big difference in our drafts.
Phil Foden
15:30: Everton players now out
We think it’s just City players left after the latest reveals – Everton players – were released. They were:
- James Tarkowski – DEF – £5.0m
- Dwight McNeil – MID – £5.5m
- Abdoulaye Doucoure – MID – £5.5m
- Jack Harrison – MID – £5.5m
- Jarrad Branthwaite – DEF – £5.0m
The two starting centre-backs from last year come in at £5.0m, which is not too much of a surprise given Everton’s strong clean sheet record last season. There are plenty of other options at £4.5m though, which may put many off the Toffees’ defenders.
Branthwaite has been strongly linked with a transfer to United – but negotiations seem to have stalled over Everton’s valuation of the young star.
In terms of the midfielders, we wonder if the signing of Iliman Ndiaye will push Doucoure deeper this time around, lessening his appeal?
14:45: Gunners’ prices revealed
Price releases today have been around the hour marks but Arsenal have gone early, and Bukayo Saka’s price is a key one:
- Bukayo Saka – MID – £10.0m
- Martin Odegaard – MID – £8.5m
- Jurrien Timber – DEF – £5.5m
- Declan Rice – MID – £6.5m
- David Raya – GK – £5.5m
So Saka comes in at £0.5m cheaper than Palmer. That’s an interesting one for the Gunners’ penalty taker, who managed 28 goal involvements. Palmer registered seven more but there’s really very little between the two, so we’re slightly surprised Saka is a little cheaper.
In defence, we probably would have liked to see a William Saliba, Ben White or Gabriel price, however with Timber in at £5.5m we can perhaps expect them to be in the £6.0m-plus region.
Bukayo Saka v Cole Palmer
14:00: Five Forest picks
Nottingham Forest’s five have just been revealed. They are:
- Morgan Gibbs-White – MID – £6.5m
- Chris Wood – FOR – £6.0m
- Anthony Elanga – MID – £5.5m
- Murillo – DEF – £4.5m
- Ola Aina – DEF – £4.5m
Forest ranked fifth best for expected goals conceded at home last season, although their actual goals conceded was quite a bit higher.
Murillo is a rumoured transfer target for Chelsea, with Arsenal and Liverpool also loosely linked with the Brazilian. His price could be very appealing if he does get a move.
There wasn’t much between Gibbs-White and Elanga last season, although set-pieces add a premium to Gibbs-White’s price.
Morgan Gibbs-White v Anthony Elanga
13:00: Newcastle reveals
Five Newcastle players are next up, with some interesting prices here:
- Alexander Isak – FOR – £8.5m
- Bruno Guimaraes – MID – £6.5m
- Harvey Barnes – MID – £6.5m
- Fabian Schar – DEF – £5.5m
- Dan Burn – DEF – £4.5m
Isak comes in at £6.5m cheaper than Haaland and £0.5m less than Watkins. The Magpies forward scored 21 goals last season, one behind Palmer and six fewer than Haaland.
Newcastle open against Southampton at home but the fixtures after that look mediocre. Their following two games at St James’ Park are against Spurs and City.
Schar and Burn meanwhile are priced £1.0m different. Do the stats justify the extra expense of Schar? We’d argue not, if both continue to start in 2024/25.
Fabian Schar v Dan Burn
12:00: Fulham prices
Rodrigo Muniz scored nine goals after breaking into the Fulham first team last season. The budget striker will now cost £6.0m.
Antonee Robinson‘s price catches the eye, with the American assisting six goals in 2o23/24:
- Alex Iwobi – MID – £5.5m
- Tom Cairney – MID – £5.0m
- Calvin Bassey – DEF – £4.5m
- Antonee Robinson – DEF – £4.5m
Rodrigo Muniz and Antonee Robinson’s stats
11:00: Saints shortlist
Southampton are the next club to reveal a few prices – and star man Adam Armstrong comes in at £5.5m.
The forward scored 24 and assisted 13 for Saints last season, with no teammate matching either tally. He could be a good budget option to start the season – Southampton have the third best first six fixtures.
Other reveals were:
- Will Smallbone – MID – £5.0m
- Adam Lallana – MID – £5.0m
- Kyle Walker-Peters – DEF – £4.5m
- Jan Bednarek – DEF – £4.0m

09:50: Manchester United prices
Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another day of FPL price reveals.
FPL were straight out of the blocks this morning and a selection of Manchester United player prices have already been revealed:
- Rasmus Hojlund – FOR – £7.0m
- Marcus Rashford – MID – £7.0m
- Andre Onana – GK – £5.0m
- Alejandro Garnacho – MID – £6.5m
- Lisandro Martinez – DEF – £4.5m
Do any of these United players tempt you for Gameweek 1? Which Rashford will turn up this season? If it’s the in-form one, he could be well priced at £7.0m but many will be put off after his struggles last season.
Andre Onana
FPL player price reveals 2024/25: Weekend coverage
Sunday: Finals theme
It appears to be a relatively light-touch day for FPL price reveals, with the club-by-club theme paused in favour of an international focus.
Players taking part in the Euro 2024 and Copa America finals tonight were revealed earlier this afternoon:
- Kieran Trippier – DEF – £6.0m
- Rodri – MID – £6.5m
- Luis Diaz – MID – £7.5m
- Enzo Fernandez – MID – £5.0m
Rodri’s price rise recognises his eight goals and 10 assists last season – a brilliant return for a player traditionally seen as a defensive midfielder and not a strong FPL pick.
Fernandez’s price could be more appealing depending on his role under Maresca. If he plays as the deepest-lying midfielder, he is unlikely to be worth considering. But this could change if he takes one of the more attacking number eight spots and gets more opportunities to push forward.
17:20: Spurs selection
A selection of Spurs players have been confirmed:
- James Maddison – MID – £7.5m
- Dejan Kulusevski – MID – £6.5m
- Destiny Udogie – DEF – £5.0m
- Pedro Porro – DEF – £5.5m
- Guglielmo Vicario – GK – £5.0m
16:30: Cook correction
FPL has confirmed that Cook will not be listed as a defender after all – he’ll remain as a midfielder!
15:00: Bournemouth prices revealed
It’s the Cherries who are up next, including Dominic Solanke (£7.5m) who had a standout season in 2023/24, scoring 19 goals. The other Bournemouth prices to be revealed just now were:
- Marcus Tavernier – MID – £5.5m
- Lewis Cook – DEF – £5.0m
- Milos Kerkez – DEF – £4.5m
- Ilya Zabarnyi – DEF – £4.5m
Cook is listed in FPL’s graphic as a defender but he’s very much a defensive midfielder. Either this is a mistake, or a sneak peek at one of the possible changes to this season’s game. Could we seen defensive midfielders all classified as defenders to help boost their appeal?
Bournemouth rank midtable for their early fixtures. It’s Nottingham Forest (A), Newcastle (H) and Everton (A) first, followed by Chelsea (H) and Liverpool (A). Gameweek 6 – Southampton at home – looks better.
Dominic Solanke’s stats
14:20: Alexander-Arnold price drop
Trent Alexander-Arnold comes in at £7.0m – that’s a £1.0m drop on last season. Other Liverpool reveals were:
- Cody Gakpo – FOR – £7.5m
- Darwin Nunez – FOR – £7.5m
- Alexis Mac Allister – MID – £6.5m
- Virgil van Dijk – DEF – £6.0m
Liverpool have an excellent set of opening fixtures – but how will they adapt to life after Jurgen Klopp? They’re certainly one to watch in pre-season.
Speaking of which, pre-season is already underway for some clubs – check out our pre-season results guide for all the key information. We’ll start updating it daily from Monday.

13:30: Any interest in the Tractor Boys?
Newly promoted Ipswich are the next featured team, with five prices revealed:
- Omari Hutchinson – MID – £5.5m
- Conor Chaplin – MID – £5.5m
- Sam Morsy – MID – £5.0m
- Cameron Burgess – DEF – £4.0m
- George Hirst – FOR – £5.5m
Ipswich have one of the worst sets of opening fixtures, ranking 17th on the Hub fixture ticker. Their players may therefore be ones to watch until their fixtures improve.
Despite this, we have another £4.0m defender in Burgess, while Hutchinson is an exciting prospect. He scored 10 and assisted four last season and has signed from Chelsea permanently this summer.

12:55: Pedro under-priced?
We’ll bring you updates of any new price reveals when we can today.
Brighton were the latest club in the spotlight a short time ago – with one or two eye-catching prices:
- Joao Pedro – FOR – £5.5m
- Pervis Estupinan – DEF – £5.0m
- Lewis Dunk – DEF – £4.5m
- Simon Adingra – MID – £5.5m
- Yankubah Minteh – MID – £5.5m
Pedro is the one who leaps out from these prices, with the penalty taking forward potentially under-priced if he nails down a starting spot under new coach Fabian Hurzeler.
Adingra, who was the latest young Brighton talent to emerge last season, could be on his way out, having been linked with Marseille. The French club are managed by ex-Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi.

FPL player price reveals 2024/25: Day two live coverage
17:50: That’s all for today!
That’s all we’re getting today, the Premier League has confirmed.
It said there would be more prices tomorrow – we’ll provide a summary of them when we can.
Thanks for following us on day two – have a great weekend!
17:21: Summary so far
We’ve had players from seven Premier League clubs revealed so far today. The Premier League’s live blog has not yet indicated it is done for the day, so we may get another set of prices at 6pm.
17:00: Hammers prices in
Our 17:00 reveal is West Ham players. Mohammed Kudus comes in cheaper than Bowen, while Alphonse Areola is no longer a £4.0m bargain:
- Mohammed Kudus – MID – £6.5m
- James Ward-Prowse – MID – £6.5m
- Michail Antonio – FOR – £5.5m
- Max Kilman – DEF – £4.5m
- Alphonse Areola – GK – £4.5Am

16:00 Vardy is back – and this time he’s budget friendly
Leicester City are the next club to receive a set of price reveals.
The headline news is FPL legend Jamie Vardy coming in at just £5.5m, which could make him an extremely useful option for managers looking for a budget forward, despite the striker’s tender age of 37.
New signing Bobby De Cordova-Reid also comes in at £5.5m, although the former Fulham man is a midfielder rather than a forward.
Stephy Mavididi is another £5.5m midfield option for the Foxes, and if he comes close to the 18 attacking returns he contributed in the Championship last season he may end up being a popular fantasy pick.
- Jamie Vardy – FWD – £5.5m
- Bobby De Cordova-Reid – MID – £5.5m
- Stephy Mavididi – MID – £5.5m
- Patson Daka – FWD – £5.0m
- Caleb Okoli – DEF – £4.0m

15:10: Wolves join the pack
Just ten minutes later, we have ourselves a set of Wolves options.
The highest-priced of this group is Matheus Cunha, who sees a £1.0m price increase but remains as a forward, having made his mark on the Premier League last season with 19 attacking returns.
There will also be keen interest in the price of Rayan Ait-Nouri. Despite spending time playing on the wing last season, his five attacking returns in 29 starts were not seen as enough to merit a price rise. The Algerian has the potential to blow other £4.5m options out of the water with his substantial attacking threat.
- Matheus Cunha – FWD – £6.5m
- Jorgen Strand Larsen – FWD – £5.5m
- Pablo Sarabia – MID – £5.5m
- Rayan Ait-Nouri – DEF – £4.5m
- Craig Dawson – DEF – £4.5m
Rayan Ait-Nouri’s stats
15:00: Crystal Palace players revealed – budget options aplenty?
Following another two-hour gap, Crystal Palace are the next club to have a group of player prices revealed.
The headline is Eberechi Eze coming in at a very reasonable £7.0m – especially when considering the departure of Michael Olise could place further impetus on Eze to be the main man for the Eagles.
It’s £0.5m less than in-form Eagles striker Jean-Phillippe Mateta, whose price was unveiled yesterday.
We’re also left waiting on the price of Palace right-back Daniel Munoz, who could be a popular pick in defence based on his impressive finish to last season.
Otherwise, the players revealed are more likely to be rotation or budget options, although new signing Daichi Kamada could stake his place at just £5.5m – the former Frankfurt star was renowned for producing regular goals and assists in the Bundesliga.
- Eberechi Eze – MID – £7.0m
- Daichi Kamada – MID – £5.5m
- Adam Wharton – MID – £5.0m
- Chris Richards – DEF – £4.5m
- Mark Guehi – DEF – £4.5m
Eberechi Eze’s stats
13:00: Aston Villa options
We’re back! After nearly a two-hour wait, we have our next set of reveals.
It’s the turn of Aston Villa, who finished fourth last season. We were told yesterday Watkins would cost us £9.0m. Here are some of the prices of his teammates.
They include new signing Ian Maatsen, whose big-money move from Chelsea came after he spent time on loan at Borussia Dortmund. The left-back helped the German club reach the Champions League final.
- Ian Maatsen – DEF – £5.0m
- Leon Bailey – MID – £6.5m
- John McGinn – MID – £5.5m
- Emiliano Martinez – GK – £5.0m
- Ezri Konsa – DEF – £4.5m
At £4.5m, Konsa comes in the same as some of the promoted clubs’ defenders we saw yesterday. He could therefore be good value, however should Maatsen find his way into the team ahead of Alex Moreno and Lucas Digne, he could be worth the extra.
One of Moreno or Digne must surely be likely to leave following Maatsen’s arrival – and given the £37.5m fee, it seems unlikely that the Dutchman has been brought in to warm the bench.
Leon’s Bailey’s stats
12:30: Still awaiting latest updates
There was no 12:00 price reveal but we will bring you the next one as soon as it is released – potentially at 13:00?
11:08: Brentford prices revealed
We had Toney at £7.5m confirmed yesterday – but here’s some more Brentford prices that have just been released.
They include the price of new striker Igor Thiago, who you can find out a little more about on our Transfer Hub page.
The Bees rank 18th for fixture difficulty over the first six games, according to our fixture ticker, so their players are not priorities for Gameweek 1.
- Igor Thiago – FOR – £6.5m
- Yoane Wissa – FOR – £6.0m
- Kevin Schade – MID – £5.5m
- Ben Mee – DEF – £4.5m
- Mark Flekken – GK – £4.5m
Yoane Wissa’s stats
10:00: A record price increase
Cole Palmer is first this morning – and it’s a huge price increase for him on last season.
The Chelsea star is priced at £10.5m. That’s £5.0m more than last year but it turned out he was ridiculously under-priced when he broke into the Blues’ first team and became their main penalty taker.
It’s a record price rise, according to FPL.
It’s going to be very difficult to own all the big stars this year – Salah, Haaland and Palmer would take up £38m of our budget.
Other Chelsea players have also been tweeted by Chelsea, so it looks like the clubs will be taking part in the reveals today. The other prices were:
- Nicolas Jackson – FOR – £7.5m
- Raheem Sterling – MID – £7.0m
- Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – MID – £6.0m
- Reece James – DEF – £5.0m
Dewsbury-Hall at £6.0m could be a good bet this season, should he break into the first team like Palmer did last season.
He and manager Enzo Maresca have joined Chelsea from Leicester and the midfielder was a key part of their promotion success, scoring 12 times and assisting 14.
We also have to factor in yesterday’s news of Nkunku being priced at £6.5m – if he is fit, he is likely to be the one to look at in the Blues’ midfield.
Cole Palmer’s stats
09:40: While we’re waiting…
FPL has tweeted that releases will continue this morning, so maybe we’ll see our first one at 10:00.
In the meantime, we’ve released an article looking at the best and worst opening fixtures, written using our customisable fixture ticker.
Our pre-season coverage, all of which you’ll find in our Ultimate Guide, will fully start next week once the game launches.
09:00: Welcome to day two!
Morning everyone! We’re expecting another day full of price reveals.
Yesterday, we got 20 player prices, which you can see at the top of our day one section below.
We’re not sure how many we’ll get today but we’ll bring you news as soon as it comes out.

FPL player price reveals 2024/25: Day one live coverage
17:03: Day one summary
So there we have it – we’ve had all 20 price reveals for the day, which are listed below in price order.
We’ve seen both ends of the scale, with Haaland coming in at a record price and Harwood-Bellis offering our first starting £4.0m defender.
Richarlison, Havertz and Semenyo are among those who have seen their positions in the game reclassified.
It so far looks like players have been priced up well, although Nkunku at £6.5m in midfield could make a complete mockery of his price if he stays injury free.
Check back tomorrow for day two of our live coverage. Thanks for following!
- Erling Haaland – FOR – £15.0m
- Mohamed Salah – MID – £12.5m
- Ollie Watkins – FOR – £9.0m
- Bruno Fernandes – MID – £8.5m
- Kai Havertz – FOR – £8.0m
- Jean-Philippe Mateta – FOR – £7.5m
- Ivan Toney – FOR – £7.5m
- Anthony Gordon – MID – £7.5m
- Jarrod Bowen – MID – £7.5m
- Richarlison – FOR -£7.0m
- Christopher Nkunku – MID – £6.5m
- Solly March – MID – £6.5m
- Pedro Neto – MID – £6.5m
- Callum Hudson-Odoi – MID – £5.5m
- Antoine Semenyo – MID – £5.5m
- Jordan Pickford – GK – £5.0m
- Bernd Leno – GK – £5.0m
- Leif Davis – DEF – £4.5m
- Ricardo Pereira – DEF – £4.5m
- Taylor Harwood-Bellis – DEF – £4.0m

17:00: Final price reveal of the day
Our final reveal of the day is Ollie Watkins, who will cost £9.0m. That’s a rise for him – but he’s a whole £6.0m cheaper than Haaland and on the face of it, it looks a little on the cheap side.
No player managed more goal involvements last season, with the Aston Villa talisman scoring 19 and assisting 18.
He’ll have to cope without Douglas Luiz this time, with the midfielder off to Juventus, but could this mean he takes over penalty duties?
Ollie Watkins’ stats
16:30: Gordon and Bowen at £7.5m
Anthony Gordon and Jarrod Bowen both receive a price rise to £7.5m.
This is not too surprising, given the pair contributed 27 and 22 goal involvements respectively for Newcastle and West Ham last season.
Anthony Gordon v Jarrod Bowen
16:00: Star strikers
Two strikers’ prices have been confirmed – and both at £7.5m. Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ivan Toney come in at this mid-price.
Mateta and Crystal Palace had a brilliant run of form towards the end of last season under Oliver Glasner – but they’ll have to do it again without Michael Olise at the very least.
One thing noted by Holly Shand is that Mateta is in France’s Olympic squad. The tournament runs until August 10, six days before the Gameweek 1 deadline, so he may not be available.
Toney sat out the first half of the season after his ban for breaching betting rules but returned to score four in 17 games for Brentford.
He has been heavily linked with a summer transfer, which could impact thinking over whether he is a leading fantasy option up front early on.
We’re now seen 17 player prices – just three more are expected today.
Jean-Philippe Mateta v Ivan Toney
15:30: Bruno Fernandes next up
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes is next out – and he’s remaining at £8.5m.
No player created more chances last season than the Portuguese, with a leading number of key passes (114) and joint-most big chances created (23) alongside Salah.
Bruno Fernandes’s stats
15:00: Injury affected players – including a possible gem
Players who had their season hampered by injuries is the 15:00 theme, with the following three prices revealed:
- Christopher Nkunku – £6.5m – MID
- Solly March – £6.5m – MID
- Pedro Neto – £6.5m – MID
Let’s face it, the Chelsea midfielder we really want to know the price of is Cole Palmer – but the Nkunku one is intriguing.
Reclassified as a midfielder from a forward, Nkunku could feasibly play up front for the Blues next season, something we’ll have to watch out for in pre-season as Maresca takes charge.
Nkunku’s pricing could prove low if he gets regular game time and puts his fitness issues behind him.
Wolves have the worst opening six fixtures according to our ticker, so Neto is unlikely to be in many Gameweek 1 teams regardless of his price.
Christopher Nkunku’s stats
14:39: Over halfway through today’s price reveals
We were promised the first 20 price reveals today – one per club – and we’re just past the halfway point now. To summarise, we’ve had the following 11 prices:
- Erling Haaland – £15.0m
- Mohamed Salah – £12.5m
- Kai Havertz – £8.0m
- Richarlison – £7.0m
- Callum Hudson-Odoi – £5.5m
- Antoine Semenyo – £5.5m
- Jordan Pickford – £5.0m
- Bernd Leno – £5.0m
- Leif Davis – £4.5m
- Ricardo Pereira – £4.5m
- Taylor Harwood-Bellis – £4.0m
14:30: Goalkeeper price rises
Next, it’s the turn of the goalkeepers – and two £4.5m options from last year in Jordan Pickford and Bernd Leno have been given price rises to £5.0m.
Everton kept the joint-second highest number of clean sheets last season (13), level with City and five behind Arsenal.
It meant Pickford was last season’s top-scoring keeper, 18 points ahead of the Gunners’ David Raya, although the latter played six fewer games.
Leno was the joint-third best shot-stopper in points terms. Only three players made more saves than the Fulham number one.
The cottagers rank second best for their opening six games according to the Hub’s customisable fixture ticker. They face two of the three promoted clubs in their first three games.
Jordan Pickford v Bernd Leno
14:00: Salah’s price unveiled
Long-time FPL favourite Mohamed Salah comes in at £12.5m, which is the same price the Liverpool man started at last season.
With the Egyptian now having hit the 200 point mark seven seasons running, it seems unlikely that too many FPL managers will be deterred by a reasonably hefty price tag – especially considering that the Reds face newly promoted Ipswich Town in Gameweek 1.
But that being said, owning both him and Haaland could prove challenging, depending on the prices of other premium midfielders.
Some tricky decisions await for FPL managers.
Mohamed Salah remains at the same price for 24/25
13:30: Pair of £5.5m midfielders revealed
Callum Hudson-Odoi and Antoine Semenyo have both been priced at £5.5m, with the latter being reclassified from a forward to a midfielder.
Both players produced solid points returns over the course of last season, and at 23 and 24 years of age respectively, it’s a duo that will be hoping to kick on in terms of goals and assists this campaign.
Hudson-Odoi and Semenyo could provide value options in midfield
13:00: North London midfielders reclassified as forwards
Kai Havertz and Richarlison have been reclassified from midfielders to forwards for the 2024/25 Premier League season, which means no clean sheet points and one fewer point for each goal.
Havertz has been given a small bump in value to £8.0m, while Richarlison’s price remains the same as last campaign at £7.0m.
The pair combined will cost the same as £15.0m Haaland – something to think about, certainly if Richarlison can get regular minutes for Spurs.
Havertz and Richarlison – FPL forwards for 24/25
12:30: Trio of budget defenders announced
Two promoted defenders boasting a significant level of attacking threat come in at £4.5m, in the form of Ipswich’s set-piece specialist Leif Davis, and former FPL favourite Ricardo Pereira.
For those looking for a basement price option, Southampton’s Taylor Harwood-Bellis could be a useful enabler at just £4.0m.
Harwood-Bellis has sealed a permanent move to the Saints after a season-long long on the south coast. He is likely to be a nailed-on starter for the newly promoted club.
Pereira meanwhile was used by former Leicester manager Enzo Maresca as an inverted right-back last season. Will new Leicester boss Steve Cooper revert to deploying him as a conventional right-back?

12:00: Erling Haaland’s price revealed
Erling Haaland’s price for the 2024/25 season has been revealed – and Manchester City’s main man comes in at a record-breaking £15.0m.
Haaland was already the joint-most expensive player in FPL history, tied with the likes of Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo, but his new price blows the competition out of the water, making him the highest priced fantasy asset of all time by a clear £1m.

The Manchester City striker scored 27 goals and 217 FPL points in 2023/24, down from 36 goals and 272 points the season before.
Injuries limited him to 31 appearances last season, preventing him from threatening his record goals tally.
But some had begun to question whether he was worth the money before this – and whether it was worth spreading the funds around the squad.
While some had success avoiding the striker, we would be surprised if he wasn’t recommended by Hub AI at the start of the season, given his explosive potential…
