Gameweek 25 Review
A fairly forgettable Gameweek for me where I ended up about where I started. A reasonable score of 56 points moved me down slightly from 251k to 253k overall. Salah captaincy was a good decision but most people had the armband on him this week and, apart from that, there was very little excitement with only the ever-dependable Alexander-Arnold getting anything of note. My frustrating season continued with the player I would have brought in for Mané, had I made the move, Son getting a late goal with City having gone down to ten men and being dominant up to that point and turning my green arrow red in the process - you couldn't make it up!
Gameweek 26 Preview - Lundstram to be stripped of Peerage?
The big talking point this week seems to around the ubiquitous "Lord" Lundstram who seems to have become a major rotation risk at Sheffield United, following Mo Besic's introduction into the team plus new signing Sander Berge. Lundstram started on the bench for the second match running. There was a glimmer of hope as his introduction with 22 minutes to go drew praise from manager Chris Wilder:
“We're covered now positions-wise with genuine competition all over the park and players have got to rise to the challenge, which is why I was thrilled with John Lundstram and his attitude to it. He showed, 'You're going to have a problem now because I'm here, I've played well so far this season' and I expect that from everybody.”
