This is a cracking bit of kit! Can see myself using it every week
Good to hear Paddy!
Just awaking from my fantasy football slumber.. Great to see the Hub have done it again! Top work Ste
Welcome back @SteH
Fantastic!
Glad you like it Prof. All down to Ste’s (shotontarget) work
Wow. This is a ridiculously good tool!
I agree Jay. Game changer for me
Hi will – for the new season will the stats be updated on a weekly basis?
Yep!
Good job!
Thanks!
Game changer!
Would pay the fee just for this tool (PS don’t put prices up haha!)
Cheers Pinky!
Is there an explanation of table columns for us noobs?
If you hover over the labels, it will show up what they are. Let me know if you need more help though ?
Thanks Will, I guess I missed that as I tried the tool from my iPad and there’s no hovering there :)
Love the site guys. My second year playing FFL and looking forward to the extra help. Cheers.
Cheers
Quillion!
Was searching for penalty saves, but it looks like this is not inlcuded
Thanks. We’ll look at adding this in the coming weeks
great tool! just one question – is it just me or kevin de bruyne is not in the database? was trying to compare him to bernardo silva but couldn’t. cheers
He is there. Make sure you have low minutes players switched off (see toggle)
I must say Will…this tool is an absolute gamechanger for me!! Great work!
Cheers Kanga. Have to say I love it as well (all Ste’s work, so can’t take the credit!)
Looks like a great tool in the making :)
Couple of thoughts:
Which stats are currently being displayed in the demo mode?
Can the player prices change accordingly if Sky game selected?
Will you be able to select data by date, gameweek, matchdays etc?
Is there a bonus per £M option?
Hey Ian,
It’s not a demo mode. All stats are from last season!
We’ll look at adding Sky prices. Shouldn’t be too hard
You can already select by Gameweek. We’re not looking to add single matchdays at this stage
We are looking to add some value features in the future. Bonus per £m could be a future feature, will look into it!
Such an amazing piece of job guys!!! I suggest only to add to the dashboard a “Team Filter” or another kind of selection in Player section, like “Matches against” and the opportunity of select: All Teams, last x on the table or the top x on the table, manual selection of a team or teams, etc. as another filter of the data. Sound more complicated than what it is in reality this setup. This will give everybody a unique tool. Thank you.
Hey, you can already select by team. Simply start typing in the team you want to view player from. So to see Liverpool players, simply type ‘Liverpool’ into the search box. I think this is what you mean?
No sorry. What I mean is have a filter that you select some teams (one or more) and the points that return the table for each player, are again this teams selected (one or more) only. The concept is similar to another filters. Example. If you select matches again BRH, BUR, LEI, the table return the point of each player again this 3 selected teams. I hope that now is more clear. Thank you
Yes. I too would love to be able to compare players’ fixtures against the big 6 and the small 14 whilst also filtering for home or away.
Great work.
Ah, I understand now. We will look into adding this at some point. Thanks
Hi guys. On Android here. How do I select the players I want to compare.?
Hi, yes. the checkbox to select doesn’t appear on mobiles, there wasn’t enough room. But I can rework it so tapping the whole row selects players.
You can now do this
Fplsexy. Simply tap to select
This is great. Been looking at the bonuses and it’s surprising how much of a difference there is now the thresholds for the tiers have been lowered (Eg- 3 and 5 saves, as opposed to 5 and 7)So Alisson would have scored an extra 22pts last season with these rules? But a cracking piece of kit, I think I need to get my trusty notepad out and spend a couple of hours with it. Well done again.
Cheers
Guyinho. Enjoy the note taking!
Great tool and very nicely set out.
Don’t know if it is this table or the FPL site but there are a few discrepancies between the total FPL points scores with some players. I only checked a few but seems to just be City players e.g. this shows Sterling, Aguero, Laporte and Ederson to have had 231, 199, 165 and 163 points respectively but the site has 234, 201, 177 and 169
Thanks
Shikaka85
All sorted now
This is awesome, will use it a lot. Any chance of getting an export to excel option?
Glad you like it
dinoj. Unlikely in the near future, but we will look into it. If there are others reading this, hit the like button on dinoj’s post. If it’s a popular request, it will move up our to-do list :)
Thanks for your reply. That’s fair enough. Copy and pasting into excel mostly works ok, but the player and team names are merged into one string. A small thing that would make playing around with the data easier would be to add a space between the two. Just an idea!
I’ll include a space between player and team name on next update dinoj. As you say simple thing to do. Expect this live in next day or two!
Hey Will – thanks for this (and thanks shotsontarget, too).
Just wondering if you can also display stats at team level (e.g. chances conceded, chances conceded in the box, shots conceded outside the box, shots taken in the box etc.), preferably home Vs. away / by gameweek range? Thanks either way.
We’re on it. Bit of work to do to get this set up, but hopefully ready in the coming weeks
I do miss a couple of things since joining this site over FFS
Non-penalty xG
I’d like two decimal digits when I see stats per appearance/start/90
I miss baseline BPS
Otherwise it’s brilliant
Thanks. We are continually adding and updating the tool. Will add these to the list!
I want to be able to filter by percentage owned.
Hi, I cant see the link anywhere. Using laptop. Thanks
The link for what
Escobar22?
The stats. On laptop the screen is just blank but i assumed a link should be there. works fine on mobile so no worries.
Hi Escobar, I am looking into this issue but need some more info if that’s okay. What OS are you using (Windows/Mac) and what browser (e.g. Chrome/Firefox/Safari)?? Thanks.
Hi, I was using internet explorer and it doesnt work on there but works fine on chrome. Thanks
Hi Will, I can’t seem to be able to see anything here rather than the message! Please advise
Hi Femmy, sorry to hear this. What device you using when you try and view the tool? Computer? Phone? And what operating system (Windows/Mac/etc) and browser (Chrome/Firefox/etc) you are using? Thanks!
Am using a computer, windows and IE
Hi, I have now changed to Firefox and can confirm it’s working brilliantly. This is amazing!
great bit of kit. first time user. like the fact that selected players stay when moving tabs. one question, what constitutes “low mins players”? is it a percentage of teams minutes played or number of starts? does it factor in injuries and suspensions? cheers
Good Q. Will pass this one onto
shotsontarget
Hi guys, “Low Mins” is below 50% of available gametime so far in the season and does not factor injuries/susp. etc. So at the moment that filtering out anyone who has played less than 45 mins. There is a maximum cut off of 1000mins, e.g. once you have played 1000mins you’ll always get shown, even if available mins is the whole season (3420mins). The point of this really is not clutter your display too much.
Great tool on desktop and tablet. Find it a bit difficult to use on mobile where I spend a lot of my fpl time. Any plans to make it more mobile friendly?
Thanks for feedback. We have tried to optimise for mobiles, but we will look into improving the user experience. Any particular reasons/ suggestions to help us?
PS I find it helpful to flip the phone on its side
It’s mostly because the team name and price wrap onto the next 2 lines so there is too much spacing between the rows and white space in the data cells meaning I can’t see as much info on the screen without scrolling.
One suggestion is to make the team and price hidden unless clicked on to expand.
Yep – we’re working on this. Will be ready in the next update. Cheers!
Great news. Thanks Will
Great tool! Just getting my head around it but looking forward to putting it to good use this season!
Is it possible to filter out players no longer in the league – for example: Trippier ?
Updated for this season. Cheers
This is an incredible tool, thank you for doing this. I will recommend this to all my fpl friends
Good man, glad you’re enjoying it. Thanks!
