<h2>Season review</h2>
I am back! Apologies to those who have missed the articles but real life got in the way. With things getting back to normal however, I should be good to go for the rest of the season &#8211; just as we enter chip season.
I was just inside the top 2m when I last wrote and at 550k right now, it&#8217;s better but nowhere near where I want to be with five gameweeks to go.
This week I am on Free Hit, with the aim of playing my Wildcard in 35 and Bench Boost in 37

<h3>Goalkeepers</h3>

Fulham, Sheffield United, Manchester United, Burnley and Everton are conceding the most FPL points to opposition goalkeepers.
Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, Newcastle and Fulham are the teams scoring the most FPL points in this position.
For my Free Hit, I am tempted by Alisson (£5.7m). Liverpool&#8217;s double is favourable as per the data above &#8211; and below in the points per game table &#8211;  and as my rank is terrible, I will be going differential.
However, you&#8217;d expect Liverpool to score some goals in these games, so double or even triple attack may be the better play.
Ivo Grbic (£4.5m) at Sheffield United has a reasonable double, with United conceding an average of four FPL points per game to opposition goalkeepers. That&#8217;s the harder of the two games as well, so he could potentially get a decent return. I know I&#8217;m asking a lot though.
<h3>Defenders</h3>

Brentford, Sheffield United, Fulham, Burnley and Everton are conceding the most FPL points to opposition defenders.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Manchester City and Everton are the teams scoring the most FPL points in the defender position.
The teams with the best doubles according to the data are Liverpool and Sheffield United. Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.4m) is an interesting play this week but I can&#8217;t see him playing both games, given the rest periods between the Europa League game and then two league matches.
Virgil Van Dijk (£6.6m) is a safer route into that backline. Even then, Liverpool have one clean sheet in their last 16 games &#8211; is it worth the risk?
An Arsenal double up in defence seems safer. 14 clean sheets and an expected goals conceded (xGC) of 22.69 over the course of the season is phenomenal. You&#8217;d expect them to keep performing at this level given they are now out of all cups and focusing on the title race.
Crystal Palace could also be an interesting option after their surprise win over Liverpool at the weekend.
Clean sheets have been at premium this year, so I think I will back the best defences and save most of the risks for elsewhere.
<h3>Midfielders</h3>

Luton, Brentford, Burnley, Sheffield United and Bournemouth have conceded the most FPL points to opposition midfielders so far.
Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, Arsenal, Liverpool and City are the teams scoring the most midfielder FPL points so far.
The best double according to the data is for Crystal Palace midfielders. Both Eberechi Eze (£6.0m) and Michael Olise (£5.6m) are interesting options, despite the latter just returning from injury.
Aside from Mohamed Salah (£13.5m), the Liverpool midfielders are difficult to call given the lack of rest periods between their next three games. Luis Diaz (£7.8m) has looked back to his best recently but Diogo Jota (£7.9m) can and will eat into both his and Darwin Nunez&#8217;s minutes.
It wouldn&#8217;t surprise me if all three of those players got less than 140 minutes over the double. And don&#8217;t forget, both Jota and Nunez got injured in the first game of the double last time! Some things are just out of our control.
Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) is a lock. Kai Havertz (£7.4m) is an potential option, especially given returns against teams at the wrong end of the table.
Can he do it against Wolves and Chelsea? That is even if he is selected in that forward role, as Gabriel Jesus (£7.7m) has returned to action as well. Potentially a risk going there.
<h3>Forwards</h3>

West Ham, Luton, Nottingham Forest, Burnley, and Sheffield United are conceding the most FPL points to opposition forwards so far.
City, Bournemouth, Luton, Burnley and Aston Villa are the teams scoring the most FPL points in the forward position.
Jean-Philippe Matera (£5m) appears to have a decent double and as such he is on my radar alongside Dominic Solanke (£7.2m).
Nunez is also an intriguing option, with 11 goals and 11 assists this season. An expected goals (xG) of 15.12 indicates he is under-performing a bit, which seems to be standard for him.
<h3>Points per game game</h3>
This has been the main table for me this week, as I use it to check out specific fixtures. It helps with captaincy and double gameweeks.

You will see come curveballs in there. I need to take some risks to gain rank and so I&#8217;m hoping the data can help me climb up into the top 100k come the end of the season.
I&#8217;m hoping for a clean sheet against Burnley and save points against United for Grbic! Olise is a minutes risk as well.
Alexander-Arnold is a huge risk and so downgrading to Van Dijk is probable. Nunez may lose his place, although it&#8217;s worth noting his expected goal involvements (xGI) is actually better when coming off of the bench.
Note that this is a first draft and is subject to change. If you are following this team, just note that I am taking risks and it depends how safe you want to play it. I have £6.6m in the bank, so there&#8217;s plenty of cash to play with.

When looking at the Hub&#8217;s <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">points prediction tool,</a> we see Salah top of the charts. Make sure to check the predictions later in the week, as things can change.
