As we head into Gameweek 7, Former Sky Sports Fantasy Football Champion Dan Cox highlights five players for you to consider for your fantasy XI this week.

The three-day Gameweek kicks off on Friday night with the Southampton v Bournemouth clash.

Callum Wilson

Callum Wilson 9.9m scored twice against Everton last Sunday to reward owners with a 17 point haul – 34 points if he was your captain. In just 5.52% of teams he could well again deliver for owners on Friday. I thought he would have been in more teams as he provides a vital captaincy option and if you’d have brought him in on Sunday it would have been a nice little 2 for 0 plan. 35 points from three goals, two assists and one MOTM award. I think Wilson will again be in the goals on Friday.

Heung-min Son

Heung-min Son 10.5m is often the overlooked man in the Spurs attack. In just a paltry 1.81% of teams he deserves better. With two goals and MOTM against Palace maybe he’ll start getting a bit more attention. Spurs still have a great run of fixtures and I think I’d prefer the Korean over Harry Kane on current form.

Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero 12.1m, I’m writing this more in hope than anything. Surely City bounce back from last week’s defeat to Norwich with a scoreline similar to the FA Cup final.

Aguero is in 27.68% of teams with 56 points from seven goals, one assist and one MOTM. I’m hopeful the Argentinian starts on Saturday. Its always a worry captaining a city asset when you can’t see the line up but I don’t think Pep will take any chances after resting KDB against Norwich. Even if he doesn’t start I wouldn’t bet against him coming on and getting a goal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the saviour last Sunday for fantasy managers with 14 points against Watford with two goals. Now on five goals for season with one MOTM resulting in 43 points. He finds himself in 19.87% of teams and he’ll be a popular captaincy pick again this week in my opinion. This is one game where I’ll happily see Frederic Guilbert not start or not keep a clean sheet.

Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham 8.3m, I don’t think many people were expecting the young Chelsea forward to net a hattrick away at Wolves. But he did and I think it’s caught a lot of us napping. I personally never considered him.

In just 9.88% of teams I’d expect his ownership to increase steadily especially given his more than favourable price tag. With 54 points from seven goals I think it’s safe to say he’s the main striker at Chelsea. Whilst Liverpool at home isn’t the best of games Chelsea do have Brighton H, Southampton A, Newcastle H, and Burnley A in the coming weeks. And the best thing is you can move him in after you’ve had a striker player on Friday or Saturday to gain a game.
