Former Champion Dan Cox takes us through some of the highest scoring players in each position, the players with the most MOTM awards and the players who are mopping up the most bonus points.

Plus there is a look ahead to the next overhaul and Dan’s ‘operation snowflake’ plans.

Bonus Kings

Here I’ll take a look at all the various bonus categories and who has been doing well in each. I’ll let you look at the players and make your own mind up on who’s worth having. I think many might be surprised by some of the players hitting bonus and I think it also highlights who’s not been cutting it.

I think it’s worth noting that TAA isn’t on this list and is pretty much relying on assists for points. Even Robertson to only hit T2 passing twice in 11 games isn’t great in my opinion. Especially considering Liverpool haven’t been keeping clean sheets I don’t think they are that great an option.

Richarlison leads the way with tackle bonus. Jorginho again doing very well with passing bonus. Being the penalty taker for Chelsea also maybe he should be given more consideration.

Top point scorers

Goalkeepers

There isn’t much between the top five goalkeepers. 13 points in fact. I still think Alisson and Ederson are the best picks but there is definitely a case for a cheaper option. Although I don’t think you need to sacrifice an expensive goalkeeper due to the budget options available in other positions.

Defence

Leicester’s back four make up four of the top eight point scoring defenders. Soyuncu leads the way with 80, followed by Pereira on 77 then the first of Liverpool’s trio Andy Robertson with 67.

It's then another foxes man Chilwell on 64, before VVD and TAA come in on 60. Sheffield United’s Enda Stevens sneaks in with 57 before the last of Brendan Rodgers back four Jonny Evans with 53.

So despite a lack of clean sheets the Liverpool defence continue to rack up points from various bonus and assists/goals. Leicester have kept more clean sheets with four compared to just two for Liverpool but again their defenders are picking up bonus and assists/goals.

It’s Manchester City and surprisingly Sheffield United with the most with five clean sheets each. But with Fernandinho taking up one of the CB positions and injury and rotation taking effect. Manchester City don’t have a defender in the top 15 for points. Kyle Walker coming in on 45 points as the 16th highest scoring defender.

Who would have thought that John McGinn would be the leading midfielder after 13 Gameweeks. In fact, there are so many budget options. Mount and McGinn, in particular, are making a mockery of their price tags.

Richarlison is a surprising addition to the top 10. Considering that Everton have had a poor season he is picking up his fair share of points. He’s only scored twice and assisted three but he has hit tier one tackles five times.

Tammy Abraham leads the way with points. Despite Vardy scoring a goal more. Although Abraham does have four MOTM to Vardy’s solitary award.

Despite getting off to a flier Pukki has blanked in the last six games.

With the exception of Pukki, Rashford and Kane I’d happily have any of the other seven in my team. Just fitting them in is the problem.

Most MOTMs

Here are the players with the most man of the match awards. Worth noting only three keepers have claimed MOTM once each - Krul, Henderson and Ramsdale. Traore is a bit of a surprise one. Didn’t notice he had so many awards.
