FPL Algorithm Team for Gameweek 22
It’s been a crazy festive period with fixtures coming thick and fast. I’ve had some bad luck but cancelled by good luck. Last week I was planning on rolling my free transfer with an eye on bringing in Antonio for West Ham’s double game week and I noted that Mount was about to fall in price so made the switch. Antonio missed the weekend matches and is a concern going forward, however this brought a slice of good luck as it meant Cantwell came off the bench with 10 points.
I’m mainly content with my team so am starting to consider the upcoming double Gameweek in more depth. To use the algorithm, I set cells C5:C6 (start and finish of the GW) to 24 and 25. It is worth noting that for the model to work, the second match of a Gameweek is given a separate number so from this point onwards it will be one Gameweek out of sync with FPL.
As you would expect, Liverpool players dominate this set of fixtures, but since I have a full quota of three I’m more interested in West Ham players. There are a few midfielders such as Snodgrass who could be useful to bring in for these two fixtures. I plan to roll my transfer for this week or less I see any likely price movements. This gives me another week of information before making a decision.
